Basic campground. No power, just very clean outhouses. Nice river access. Clean.

Camp spots are nice, the facility is pretty well maintained. Nice walking path to the Chena river. Vault toilets well maintained. Very buggy.

Very clean, and private campground sites. Loved our time there. No running water so pack some with you!

Bathrooms were clean and the mosquitoes were tolerable versus other spots. The trails however were overgrown but the river made up for it.

I camped alot of places this summer, Rosehip was by far the cleanest. There is some road noise but it was infrequent and really nothing more than white noise. It was Saturday on a July weekend, more camp spots empty than full. Each spot seemed rather well placed with a buffer of wilderness with some paths between camp sites. Some sites are double for more than one vehicle, but I'd say you could easily fit two vehicles at one site. Plenty of flat forest ground for tents. A deep fire pit, my site could easily have held three maybe four bundles. There was a kiosk credit card at the pull over before entering the park and a cash envelope station in the park. No site host when I camped. Hope you like it as I did, toodles.

Finally here, fist time in Alaska and I'm blessed to find this campground! Is so peaceful, clean and right in the middle of nature but not that far from the city ( north pole ) Affordable price $20/night+ $5 additional car in case u have guests. No hookup ( no electricity, water or dump station, sorry but so far I didn't see it, I'll double check and of course I'll update my post ☺) Plenty of sites, fist come first serve! Love love love it!

This place is great. HUGE camp sites complete with tables, fire pits, and a grill great. The camper parking is nice, they have a concrete bump stop to keep you from going to far into the site. This sometimes makes it hard to get near you table, but it is on a site by site basis. DOG FRIENDLY. And easy access to the river. Finally, you still have LTE service here.

Great place to spend a weekend. Right on the river so perfect if you are planning on rafting or kayaking, as well as motorboating, which is allowed on the Chena. Later in the season is better for large boats as there is ice in May. Good place for just chilling around the campfire, or playing badminton on a gravel bar. There can be many mosquitos in the summer so bring bug spray!
