Definitely need a four wheeling drove drive to get here. So worth the drive in. Warm lake. Fishing. Canoeing. Magic

Clear water, nice sand beach with a boat launch. We were able to launch our kayaks by a 50 yard walk thru the back of our campsite! Very quiet campground. We saw loons, juvenile eagle and a swan family! Restrooms were vault toilets but clean. Nice fire ring and picnic table at each site. Dog friendly.

I caught my first panfish on this lake. I was five years old in 1966. I’ve been back several times through the years. It’s always clean and quiet. It’s a very pleasant place. I’m planning to return in the next few days.

Beautiful campground, stayed the weekend 6-10-23 and it was less than a third full. Many first come first serve sites were available. Very hard to find a bad site here, we’ll spaced, nicely wooded and most very level for parking vans and trailers. Nice beach. There were a pair a loons, four trumpeter swans, and a few geese battling for our attention.

We visited this nice lake campground on 1st July, most of the campsites in chequamegan national forest were booked. We found campsite 6 available in this campground. Mosquitos welcomed us before we can setup our equipment so mosquito repellent is recommended. Campground has vault toilets , also couple of water pumps, one of them is near to campsite 6 and 7. Camp host was very welcoming and helped us to figure out available campsite. Mobile coverage: yes Outdoor Activity : kayaking, fishing in lake

It's beautiful. Very nice camping ground. I like walking around with my sister and cousin! I almost got kidnapped there twice in one day though. Not the campsite's fault though.
