Beautiful camp grounds, spacious and clean. The lake is great for fishing or swimming. The shower and restrooms were usually clean. Lots of wildlife seen a doe and her fawn, raccoons, armadillo, and a mud turtle. A 15 min drive to Chickasha National Park and recreation. My family loves Arbuckle Lake! ❤️

So my hubby and I stayed at 055C in Loop C. It is absolutely BEAUTIFUL and super shady!! And the water was warm all night long!! But it is NOT very private. It is very close to the water and easy to get in and out of the water. There is a 2 car parking space and the other camping spot that is right next to 055C is right next to it, so they will be VERY close if someone has rented that spot. And the raccoons will 100% steal your UNOPENED bags of chips!!🤣🤣🤣

This is the most beautiful campground I have ever been to! Stayed by myself and felt very safe. Site host is kind and welcoming and always available. Restrooms and showers are so clean. They did a beautiful job with privacy between sites too. Our new favorite spot!

We focused our trip on the little Niagara Falls and hiked up the creek from there stopping at the visitor center. Great information at the visitor center and in the brochures produced by the national parks. Highly recommend going up to Buffalo Springs. Very cool to see the Civilian Conservation Corps pool enclosure and to sit quietly while the spring bubbles up. Excellent experience of nature.

Beautiful!! Great hiking! Places you can swim too. Water is super cold and refreshing. A lot of nice picnic and camping areas. Nature Center is very nice with informative displays and well stocked gift shop.

It was so fun. The nature was beautiful and even though it rained all weekend, I had a blast. Little Niagara falls and Travertine Creek were clean and well kept. This Texan was pleased as punch. We will definitely be back and tell people about our great experience.

Very nice campground. The sites have lots of space. There’s trees in between most sites. The lake was nice and was actually really clean. Bathrooms were super clean and smelled clean! That was a first for me. Clean smelling bathrooms camping. I would come back if the area had more to do. The trails and springs in the area are not pet friendly. That was disappointing for our trip but still a nice campground.

So to cover the basics of the camp site visiting in October: -Bathrooms, spotless, not smelly barely any bugs. Also family bathroom and shower. Showers (medium hot if you hit the timer twice) Can be a bit of a hike, so make sure you check your site's proximity. -Campsite: All retained and leveled with a wall. Areas for seeing up tents and bonfires can vary so make sure you check. We stayed in site 63 and it comfortably fit three tents but some definitely wouldn't. -Access: good. A bit of a drive from the historic springs and falls areas. Excellent access to the lake. -Wildlife: expect armadillos at night. Every night just after hitting the sack we were visited by our local 'dillo rummaging attend the leaves for insects. A pretty fun change from the raccoons we usually experience as the typical campsite visitor.
