The campgrounds are so nice and the layout of the place is gust great, there's a ton of activities near by and there the mount Washington auto road and the plase is just great.but my one problem is that you have to buy there fire wood but I get is If you forget wood but not allowing to use your own wood is ubsured, anyways this place has a pool a game room with ping pong, pool and air hockey!and another thing I like is as a pianist I love to play the piano in the 2nd floor we're the rec room is and there's also hiking with miles worth of trails and they also allow bikes and others except electric scooters and bikes.and my family loves this place and we go every year!so 100 out of 10

Possibly the friendliest staff I’ve ever met. We arrived and had a staff member escort us to our site and then spot me while I backed up my 31’ travel trailer. Then the same staff member when hearing I had zero propane escorted me right to the propane fill and filled my tanks while I paid. He also noticed the bleeder screws were loose on my tanks and we agreed it may be why we didn’t have propane. Our site was level and clean. Water and electric worked as it should. Camp store, Rec room, community fire pit and playgrounds were all clean and maintained. Additionally our interactions with the staff throughout our stay was delightful, even had someone off to help Me load my kayak back onto my van. Lastly, THE FISHING. This camp is located on Moores pond, which is fed by the Chocorua river. I caught some absolute monster bass!! South east end of the pond the fish were staging near their beds for the spawn.

This is a great campground for kids and families. There is a pool and daily activities for the kids. Plenty of walking areas and small park for the kids. The staff was always super friendly and available if needed. They deliver wood directly to your campsite. The only things that made me give a 4 star rating instead of 5 is that the sites are very small. We were originally put in one with our popup and didn't have room to open our awning. They did help us with that and we moved sites but most sites are small for the size camper they are supposed to accommodate. The bathrooms and showers are tiny. I am 5'4" and my knees almost touched the doors to the bathroom stalls when I sat down. It made it hard with having a 3 year old that still needs help in the bathroom. There was no room for both of us to be in the stall at once so I had to have the stall door open to help her which didn't allow privacy. The showers are also small. Again, not big enough if you need to shower a small child with you. I would give a 5 star rating if they were able to reconstruct the bathrooms and showers to be larger. But even with that issue, we would still return to camp again.

Pros and cons Pros, staff was all super helpful and nice Lots to do, lots of activities for kids and adults Beautiful atmosphere on lake Always had a community fire going which was great Cons, The roads in the campground are very tight might be challenging navigating a big camper but staff guides you. Our camper we rented did have a musky smell but after putting the AC on it helped. The public showers could use a really good scrubbing. Firewood is eight bucks versus 5 bucks off-site. It is located on a very fast stretch of road, so taking a left out of there was quite challenging. But really it was a fantastic day those are all small things.

My son, dog, and I go here at least once a year, sometimes twice. We cannot get enough as its so beautiful with so much to do. We rent a cabin which allows for no fuss for us but can still experience camping at its best. My son is an avid fisherman and this is his favorite place to fish. He's caught so many different types and is always hoping for the biggest bass. We enjoy kayaking, taking the dog on the various hiking trails, and letting him run free in the dog park. There are so many on site scheduled activities that we have experienced but our favorite was the haunted walk through the woods right before Halloween or maybe the Bingo. We will continue to visit annually as its also so close to so many great attractions in NH.

We’ve never been camping before. Came here on the recommendation of a friend/ worker. What an AMAZING PLACE!!!! We stayed in a tee pee (first time campers) with beds and a space heater. Great deck and fire pit. Anything and everything you need is in the camp store. What you don’t pick up and just take from there they deliver right to your site. Events are planned from 10:00 am -8:00 pm. The food at the campsite is actually GOOD!!!!! There’s wifi, and a binder with things to do. Oh. And if you have a pet there’s a dog park and doggie day care!!!!! We were able to participate in the Halloween walk that was AMAZING!!! Everyone was so nice. We will definitely be back again!!!

We stayed here the week of 9/19/21 with our 6 month old in our 23 foot travel trailer. We had a great time. The staff is friendly and talkative. The grounds are very well kept, including the beach area and pool. The shower houses and laundry were dated, but hot water and good water pressure is all I could ask for! Would recommend to others and would come back.

Great location for exploring the White Mountains. Large campground with many amenities. Just be careful if you are a big rig. We have a class A, 40 foot and when they say 40 foot is max, we know why! We barely made it through without clipping trees or the gate house at entry. Make sure your site properly accommodates you and access to get to site as well.

Great stay, staff couldn't have been more helpful with all our questions. Tepee cabin was perfect - everything as described and it had a fire pit, drinkable water, & was set back into the woods from the others. No electricity but it has gas so has a full fridge/oven/stovetop, as well as lamps (but they also throw heat so keep in mind for summer you may want alternative lighting options).
