Quick escape to Choinumni Campground on the Kings River. It's the perfect spot for a peaceful getaway. The area is steeped in history as the traditional homeland of the Choinumni people. The campsites are well-maintained, and the sound of the river is incredibly relaxing. A great place to unwind, cook up some good food, and just enjoy being outdoors.

Beautiful place. Very walkable with lots of little rock paths and big space. The current can get pretty strong but there are several little areas of still water that are super pretty to relax by and look at.

Big campground lots of different sites but choice wisely ,during the week it's nice quiet, laid back and people follow the rules and are respectful however the weekends get busy and rude people with no respect loud music all night then back on by 9 or 10 ,rules don't seem to apply on the weekends , no showers, and hard to clean up ,good fishing spots and the hosts are friendly

Amazing campground next to the King’s River. Widespread spaces and friendly hosts. $25 a night that goes directly to the Choinumni tribe so it’s for a good cause. No cell service so make sure you have a Garmin if you need to be reached.

Spent Easter at this out of the way gem of a park. There are plenty of shade trees and picnic sites along with tables and benches. Kings River runs right along side the park so there are plenty of good fishing spots that you can walk to. Also found some good hiking trails. Restrooms are clean and well kept. If you like rustic and foothill areas this is the spot.
