I had a great time at cinco de mayo. I was there for 6 months. It was a very healthy and happy environment. The house I was in was up to date clean and very charming. We had a few hiccups with some abandoned dogs and a broken appliance but the landlord, and neighbor were very professional and courteous in helping me solve the problems. I would recommend this place to anyone. There are a lot of places nearby to explore trails, hike, fish, swim, and just in general have an awesome time. I hope to return one day in my travels. Until next time have a great time out there. I will miss it.

Cute, small cabins close to the river and great space for camping! Plus, Jo, the hostess, was super cool and accommodating. Will def go back and stay sometime when paddling the Saint!

Had the pleasure of parking my conversion here for a peaceful night in the early Spring. Coming off of 67 it was a real treat to find a woodsy, quiet campground so close to the highway - without a whisper of highway traffic. The local access road is practically silent at night. I heard an owl and peepers in the creek. The light pollution is so minimal in this area, the stargazing conditions are excellent. The site management is very obviously in tune with what both full- and part-time travelers need in a dock. They were super prompt to respond to my last-minute inquiry. With the amenities of Fredericktown and Farmington just minutes away, I'll definitely be returning to further explore the mines, caves, and old growth forest.
