If you wanted to fish, hike, play, walk/run, enjoy the outdoors this is definitely the place. As a photographer I saw a multitude of options for future photo sessions!

I've always loved this woodland area. We were fishing here this visit but it's also a good place for hiking and picnics. There is a gun range. There is a small playground for the young ones.

I've been coming to this park since I was about 6 years old, which is 40 years ago. Sad to see that you can't climb the fire tower anymore. That used to be one of my favorite things to do there. There's plenty of things to see at this park and indecent fishing. Definitely watch your speed going towards the fire tower because the road is narrow and some people drive like idiots back there be careful.

I love this place. I travel from Louisville and take my boat and sometimes just go to bank fish. This place has everything to keep you busy. Walking trails, bike trails, many different small lakes. You can kayak/boat (no gas motors, only troll), outdoor gun range, camping, and fire tower. I believe you can only boat in 3 of the lakes and bank fish in all of them. This state park is Hugh so don't get lost!

Beautiful forest. Mostly looking around as this is one of the few we had never visited. The campground looks very nice and it looks like the horse trails would be a lot of fun! It would be nice if there were a few more hiking trails and places to pull over and get pictures of the view. Disappointed that the fire tower is still closed. You can't eat the view from the top of one!

We enjoyed a lovely Easter holiday at the forestry. It's a beautiful area with several lakes perfect for fishing.

A nice park to go to. Looks like good family and group fun. for day activities. at entry it looks like for basketball, kickball, baseball & softball, family and friend daytime picnic areas throughout, fishing, and nature trails. Camping area was ideal for out of the way weekend camping with rest rooms. winding paved road although steep and narrow at times that goes to the tower. unfortunately tower was closed although drive was adventurous and scenic. picturesque and real nature. pleasant.

Really like the forestry.. beautiful scenery and usually peaceful. Nice trails to walk and if you don't have any idea what to do one day that won't cost all your money, this is a good place to go. I also wish I could give five stars to the Amish family that sells pumpkins right by there. We go there every year and their selection is crazy good and so cheap!

Nice area in henryville,IN. There is picnicking, kayaking, fishing, boating, shooting range, you can hunt there, playground, grills, several shelter houses, a fire tower. I'm probably missing a few things and this gem of a spot has no entry fee either.
