My wife is a remote medical worker and we have stayed at many places across the country. Last winter during a storm we accidentally came into Clayton and came across this place. It’s so wonderful we decided to stay a few more weeks. Now we stay here whenever we are remotely in the area! Great folks and our pup loves the dog area! Clean, safe and reasonably priced! We can’t recommend this place enough.

Ok the showers and bathhouse were nice. Booked a site one hour before arriving and someone had extended a stay. We chose another site and owner honored the switch. Only noise bothersome was train at 4am

Easy place to pull in for the night. Company sent me check-in details via text. A little hard to see the sight number late at night. It was a nice quite place to stay for one night.

As others have mentioned, this is a nice place for an overnight stop. Full hookups with 50-amp was $40.00 with our Good Sam discount. It's easy to find, close to the highway, but not close enough to be noisy. I left a message asking if we could check in early and received a text stating that it wasn't a problem. The owner sent codes for the restrooms, wifi, and a photo of our spot on the map. We didn't use the wifi because we have Starlink, which worked great. I can't speak to the condition of the restrooms; we didn't use them.

Campground is a bit run down. Sites need new gravel and to be leveled. One of what looked like a permanent resident had trash piled up outside of the camper. Office was never open and we saw no sign of camp workers while we were there for 4 days.
