Clear Creek RV Park

Based on someone else's post on another FB page and recommendations, we chose it as our stop near Denver this past week. We had planned to move on to another campground before the week was up, but as impressed as we were by the people, campground, and surrounding community, we opted to stay the rest of the week. I highly recommend this campground for families traveling with young children. It was perfect for our needs. The creek is a hot spot for kayaking and tubing, but was way too swift for our little ones. It would be a great attraction for those traveling with teenagers. They do not take reservations, you have to call the morning you plan to arrive and see of they have any openings. To give you an idea, we were call number 11 by 7:30 am and they open at 7 am. 50 amp, water, sewer. No dump station. Sunny, pull through and back sites - both dirt/sand. Site size and space varies - most are packed in depending on size of camper/RV. Sites are level when dry, but, will be messy when wet. Parked our 38' with no issue so would consider it big rig friendly. No Wifi/cable available. No laundry room available. No bathhouses or hot tub/pool. Park is pet friendly with leash law. No activities in the park. Staff not on site but came through to check on us. A city park with trails backs into the campground. Easy walking, clean, and great to explore. Park is quiet, off the road. Would return but a bit spendy for the area without any amenities. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
