We just had our first trip up to Laguna for the season and I we were beyond happy to find new management this year. We had the pleasure of meeting Nick, Sara, Dax, and Lane who were all wonderful, friendly, and helpful hosts. Nature has always called us there but now with a great crew running the campground, we look forward to many more return adventures. Thank you!

Our favorite camping location in Mount Laguna for astrophotographyand just to get away for a couple days. Super close to Julien and very convenient restaurants minutes walk from campground.

Unfriendly hosts! In dozens of years camping all over the country, these hosts take the cake. They are so rude to guests and act like they don’t enjoy their jobs, and definitely don’t enjoy people. We won’t stay here again. Additional note to management: look at all the other negative reviews: they mostly are focused on the rude camp hosts. Please do something so they don’t continue to ruin other people’s stays.

Our recent stay was absolutely delightful! One of the standout features was the abundance of shade throughout the site, making our camping experience cool and comfortable even during the hottest parts of the day. The campground offers plenty of spacious spots to pitch a tent, each nestled in its own secluded area, providing a wonderful sense of privacy and tranquility. The amenities were well-maintained and conveniently located, including clean restroom facilities and easy access to water sources. We enjoyed exploring the nearby trails and scenic views, which were easily accessible from the campground. The desert trail is close by and worth an excursion. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a memorable camping experience!

This is a massive and professionally maintained campground. There is a lot to like about it, including spacious sites, flush toilets + showers and close proximity to lots and lots of great hiking. We stayed there in late June 2024. It was hot and there were a lot of bugs, including mosquitos. But this is part of the experience of camping, so I can't ding them for that. The staff were attentive and cleaning every time I saw them. We stayed at Site 25, which was very nice and shaded, but sort of an extension of Sites 26 and 27, so either book those too, or expect to share the space.
