Nice campsite with decent amenities. Pretty scenic and the restrooms were nearby our site which I wanted and it looks like most of the sites are close enough to restrooms.

“The restrooms are exceptionally clean, and the campground is maintained to a very high standard. The staff are highly attentive, consistently ensuring the comfort and safety of guests, and their professionalism and friendliness create a welcoming environment. The children had an amazing time riding their bikes and left very happy with the experience.”

We had a blast at this campground! It was very clean and well maintained. The camp host and staff were very nice and informative. It was a very relaxing experience. I would definitely recommend this campground.

After 15 years of camping, I’ve met a lot of hosts… but Nick and his wife are in a league of their own. Friendly, approachable, and quick to respond no matter what you need. This was my first time camping here, and despite running into some RV (Ruined Vacation) issues pulling into the campsite, a tough situation, they made it a far better experience than I could have hoped for. The next day, they checked in on me and did everything they could to help get me back on the road. They’re sharp, practical, and offer solid advice without any fluff. You can tell they genuinely care about your experience and aren’t just going through the motions. Beyond their hospitality, the campsite itself reflects their dedication and pride. They make regular rounds throughout the day, maintaining organization, cleanliness, and handling tasks that most hosts would be lazy with, or simply often skip altogether. It’s clear they take real ownership in making sure the whole area is welcoming and comfortable for campers. The campsites are nicely spaced apart, offering plenty of privacy and a peaceful feel. The shade trees around the sites provide a welcome break from the sun, making the atmosphere even more relaxing. My dogs absolutely loved it here with plenty of room to roam safely and plenty of shaded spots to lounge in. Over the course of my stay, it became clear that they don’t just see guests as visitors, they cultivate genuine connections grounded in empathy and kindness. Developing a friendship with them felt natural, yet professional, reflecting their commitment to hospitality. They set the standard for what great camp hosts should be… helpful, empathetic, and on the ball. If you get the chance to camp here, know that you’ll be in great hands. Any campground lucky enough to have them on board is immediately a better place to camp — seriously, they raised the whole experience.

The new management service is 100x better than the group that was running this campground for the last few years 💯. Restrooms were clean. Campsites were well kept. Best of all, the camp hosts are FRIENDLY! Imagine that. We've been coming here for about 10 years. When the weather is good this place is great. Close to a couple restaurants and the small store if you forget any essentials or want a tasty meal. The loops that you can't reserve have some of the best sites. Little insider secret 🙊.

Great location right on the PCT with clean restrooms and warm showers (you need at least 4 quarters per shower). Walking distance to a restaurant and store. Very peaceful campground. A lot of the paved sites are uneven so double check before booking if you have a camper.

We just had our first trip up to Laguna for the season and I we were beyond happy to find new management this year. We had the pleasure of meeting Nick, Sara, Dax, and Lane who were all wonderful, friendly, and helpful hosts. Nature has always called us there but now with a great crew running the campground, we look forward to many more return adventures. Thank you!

Our favorite camping location in Mount Laguna for astrophotographyand just to get away for a couple days. Super close to Julien and very convenient restaurants minutes walk from campground.

Unfriendly hosts! In dozens of years camping all over the country, these hosts take the cake. They are so rude to guests and act like they don’t enjoy their jobs, and definitely don’t enjoy people. We won’t stay here again. Additional note to management: look at all the other negative reviews: they mostly are focused on the rude camp hosts. Please do something so they don’t continue to ruin other people’s stays.

Our recent stay was absolutely delightful! One of the standout features was the abundance of shade throughout the site, making our camping experience cool and comfortable even during the hottest parts of the day. The campground offers plenty of spacious spots to pitch a tent, each nestled in its own secluded area, providing a wonderful sense of privacy and tranquility. The amenities were well-maintained and conveniently located, including clean restroom facilities and easy access to water sources. We enjoyed exploring the nearby trails and scenic views, which were easily accessible from the campground. The desert trail is close by and worth an excursion. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a memorable camping experience!

This is a massive and professionally maintained campground. There is a lot to like about it, including spacious sites, flush toilets + showers and close proximity to lots and lots of great hiking. We stayed there in late June 2024. It was hot and there were a lot of bugs, including mosquitos. But this is part of the experience of camping, so I can't ding them for that. The staff were attentive and cleaning every time I saw them. We stayed at Site 25, which was very nice and shaded, but sort of an extension of Sites 26 and 27, so either book those too, or expect to share the space.

Site #54. Great campground with clean restrooms. Big sites with lots of trees and good shade. Easy access to PCT, short drive to Laguna Meadows trails. Well stocked store on the main road at the campground entrance. What more do you need.

Great camping in Mt. Laguna. I try to get out here a couple of times a year. Most toilets are vault, but they do have a central restroom with flush toilets and showers. Campgrounds are up against a section of The Pacific Crest Trail.

We love this campground! It's got a ton of Oak trees all over the park, and the couple that helps care for the park (you'll see them ride around on the firewood truck) are so nice! When we were here the last few days, it was during an extreme UV and heat wave. We mostly just stayed under the trees and we were fine. Really beautiful spot not far from a few hiking trails, and down the road on Sunset Highway there's this beautiful desert overlook. There is also a tavern within walking distance of the campground if you get in later than expected and need something to eat. Super nice folks up here!
