Decent first come first serve campground with shade from oak trees. Good for tents and RVs under 30' with no hookups, but potable water is available near most sites when temperatures don't go below freezing. Trash bin pit toilets and no dump station.

So beautiful and a respite from the desert heat. There’s a stream and a swimming hole, PCT access, and people were quiet and respectful. It’s very clean and the pit toilets didn’t always have toilet paper but that’s no big deal. So many little trails around to discover and explore, stone bridges and beautiful shady campsites with plenty of sun for solar. No service but Starlink worked perfectly . $20/nt but $10 w/pass. Self pay, fcfs . Even dog owners were respectful and all were kept on leash or well behaved. California, you did really well on this one!

went late January and it was cold but fun. very quiet except for running stream. water was mostly shut off so we had to filter from a stream in the morning. only $14 for a single site. great for pct backpackers. we dropped wood via car the day before so we could hike in and stay warm by the fire.

Really laid back campground. Sites are nicely spaced apart and large. Other campers were quiet. My friends and I had 2 sites side by side and there was room for 5 cars. We set up 3 tents, used the fires, and the picnic tables. Pit toilets were as to be expected - decently clean. Running water at the sites. Dog friendly. Roads were nice for bike riding too.

$14 a night. Great for tent, van and small trailer. Level and shades spots. First come first serve. Quiet. Close to San Diego. No power or sewer. Shared water so fill tanks or bring long hose. Gets sunny to charge solar. Along Pacific Crest Trail. Ideal for ebike base camp. New picnic tables, fitepits and restrooms. Great stargazing. No cell service but 5 min drive away to get it. No nearby stores, so don't forget anything.

It was a nice and beautiful place. Green. Cannot swim in the ponds. Not safe! Lots of land for hiking. Beautiful view! $28.00 per night in double spaces. We stay in the middle of the campsite. It was big, but it has a LOT of wasps, but we can manage to enjoy 2 nights.

Great campsite, usually empty depending on the time of year. It’s fun talking to the eclectic groups of people here, or the pct hikers. Some fun off road trails surrounding the area, I’ve gone a few times with some water around. But that’s not often. Everywhere here is usually respectful and cleans up after themselves. It’s awesome to know this is In our backyard. Hope they open it up to be able to take the off road trails to mount laguna.

Great, small primitive campground for walk-in sites. Clean vault toilets and water spigots. Have exact cash to pay fees Remember, leave no trace.

Don't tell anyone about this place once you find it. Probably one of my favorite places from living out West, (in Yuma, AZ) camped here atleast a half dozen times. Right off the PCT. Great place. Stars are increíble. Just 👌🏻

Awesome little tucked away campground. First come first serve bases. Tons of shaded spots. Very clean pit toilets and running water. This campground is so well taken care of. Can’t wait to stay here again.

Great place to camp. Spring time is the best. Fred canyon road to the P.C.T. Pit toilets. Water and tables at camp sites.

Its pretty. Very windy. Not having a fire made it kind of unappealing but still a nice place.
