Beautiful views. Shallow oak creek runs behind the campground. Spring water available north of camp but people show up and fill a truckload of 5 gallon containers so there can be a long wait. Lots of road noise. Lots of rules. Water drainage is permanently backed up so no washing or rinsing at the water stations. Pit toilets are maintained but the air circulation was out in two of them and it smelled terrible.

I love staying at Pine Flat! My favorite part about this campground is the "no amplified audio" regulations. I go out of my way to stay at Pine Flat because I like to hear the creek, not people's music. Thank you to the camp hosts for doing a great job enforcing the rule. We understand most people probably dont like it and as a result the camp hosts most likely get treated badly for enforcing it, so we wanted to leave a review and THANK the hosts for keeping Pine Flat such a beautiful and quiet place to get away.

Great location, not too far from downtown Sedona and only about 2 hours from the Grand Canyon South Rim. The campground offers beautiful natural scenery, with plenty of shade at every campsite and a stream running through the valley just below the sites. The restrooms are vault toilets rather than flush toilets, but they were clean and well maintained with virtually no odor during our stay. The fire ring was deep and spacious, making it ideal for campfires. Each site also includes a charcoal BBQ grill. I didn’t use it myself, but it looked convenient for cooking meat at the campsite. When we arrived, the staff were very friendly and took the time to explain the campground rules and important safety information. It was also convenient that ice, firewood were available for purchase onsite. If I come back in the future, I’ll probably pack a little lighter knowing that these items can be purchased at the campground. Overall, it was a very pleasant camping experience, and I would definitely consider staying here again.

I spent a total of 7 days here and it was a beautiful experience. The camp hosts are very helpful and the sights are spacious, just make sure you pick one big enough for your equipment. I highly recommend this Campground and I will certainly be back in the future. It was a quick 30-minute drive into either Flagstaff or Sedona

Beautiful place but campsites are so close to the road. Was scary close to the road where the tent is to be set up. I think this place is more for adults without kids. Rules seem to be set more for campers without kids. Campsites are extremely close to each other. This was nice only because we had a large group and were next to each other. We got lucky no one else booked the site next to us. Toilets had a very uncomfortable draft coming up from them. It was very unsettling and kinda gross. knowing the air blasting up onto your bum was passing onto others waste and then up onto your own rear end.

Camp sites are scary close to the highway. Literally less than 30 feet off the 89. Loud and spooky especially with kids. Campground host was with us immediately (like followed us to camp) & sounded aggravated and asked what we were doing here then started talking at us about how we are parked incorrectly (IE half the tire was off the ‘pavement’ and in the ‘dirt’ - there is no clear distinction between the two and no signs). The toilets suck all of your excrements toilet paper and soul right out of ya. All of the camp sites are on top of each other being so close to so many folks while trying to relax in nature is tough! Great location for going and doing day trips to flag and Sedona. Not great if you want to listen to nature and not the highway and ppl talking all day & night.

Great location for hiking and sightseeing Sedona. The pit toilets could use updating, but are clean. Fresh water available at Spigots. No electric. No dump station. Campground hosts are great, they keep the sites clean and are responsive to issues. Heavily treed so solar use is limited. Some sites are double sites, which are very crowded. Lots of hiking trails. The hwy is very busy.

Location is beautiful, not ideal for any sort of travel trailer or RV though. Very tight spaces. The host were our least favorite thing about the site. The man and women came over and explained rules in great detail to include no music only in “earbuds” as she was explaining the rules she also asked if anyone was using the grills- as my mom was asking around she held her hand up and said “I’m speaking and on a roll” we would see the man on the golf cart and would wave to him and he never even cracked a smile. They just weren’t friendly people which made the experince and location one we wouldn’t go back to. Also a lot of road noise.

The hosts could have been more professional. The man the night before told us our dogs were loud and annoying, yes he used those exact words. They woke us up in our tent the following morning, I didn’t have a shirt on and was obviously trying to cover up, they didn’t leave. I felt very violated. It seemed like a couple together and the lady immediately had attitude, complaining about our dogs assuming they were fighting and being loud at 2:00am. We were sleeping with the dogs in the tent and they were not being loud at that time, trust me we would have known. The couple then tried to kick us out based on assumption not fact. I told them we were leaving today anyways, I just wanted to sleep and enjoy my morning, I came here to celebrate my birthday and they ruined it for me because they didn’t like our dogs… They then proceeded to hang out near our campsite and the man was menacingly staring at us for probably 10 minutes while we were packing our stuff because we felt unwelcome. Very unprofessional and childlike they could have handled that situation way better. The other host I forgot to get her name, she just moved down here from Colorado, she made us feel very welcome from the moment we got in!

The whole campground smells like horrible dirty never emptied-out restrooms. We had spot 21 and I would recommend NOT to book this site. It is right by the restroom and the smell is the worst, we could not enjoy the outdoors and even in the tent the smell was horrible. The host was super nice and offered for us to change site but we explored and honestly the whole campground was smelling like poop. And the wind wasn’t that strong. Run away from this camp !!!!!

Only the close distance to the road and road noise kept it from 5 stars. Enjoyed the spring water from the spigots for drinking. Camp spots are spaced nicely.

Worst customer service ever. Being a black couple showed how this lady and guy didn’t want us there We had a travel trailer that didn’t fit in the space We ask to move and they told us they couldn’t as there was empty spaces there. My son also stayed there and said those spaces were never filled. The guy on the golf cart was rude as ever The lady in charge was something else. I’ve never been treated so bad as we were there I wouldn’t recommend this place at all

A nice roadside campground, with Oak Creek running through one side of the road (89A) that divides the site East and West. The only real reason I gave it just four stars is because of its proximity to the road. The camp hosts were professional, very helpful and pleasant to deal with. ExploreUS is the vendor running this facility.

The host was so friendly and welcoming! The spot was beautiful during the day. If you forget something, the store was about 20 minutes away. The views were breathtaking. The bathrooms were ALOT cleaner than you would think. Campsite was very clean with no trash. Spring was close by. I plan on coming back!
