As a family of 4, we make our annual trip to Coloma. We get a cabin near the river where we see deer, ducks, otters and people rafting. Great way to disconnect and reconnect with family.

Nice mixed use resort with RV camping spots (full hookups or just w & e), well designed tent sites, rental cabins and group bunkhouse accommodations. Sitting right on the shore of the south fork of the American River. River access at multiple locations and just across from a historical site where the California gold rush began. The property is well maintained and was pretty busy over the weekend, but slows down during the week.

I have been going here for years. I go with family and I go alone. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. Campground and restrooms are always clean. I love the history that surrounds this location and in walking distance. This is my favorite campground.

Great place to stay right where the California historical gold rush started. Some of the RV and tent sites are right on the river. Tent sites are spacious and there are small cabins for those that want that type of convenience. Clean grounds and courteous staff. This is also a wedding and event venue. We stayed over for New Year's and we had our same spot as previous years. Year round enjoyment.

Green areas near campsites full of dog poop. Camping sites has only one restroom not enough to cover the needs of the campers. During night time camping rules are not being imposed by the camping staff the so called quite time which is 10 pm. Broken bottles are on the rivers edge and on the rivers little man made pools. Alot of unwanted materials are just being left on the rivers edge. You can smell cannabis all over the campsites.i would not commend this place unless they will do something immediately and imposed camp rules.
