Low 4, inside park-so convenient, sites needed some leveling, showers cost $5, ok for sleeping not really for hanging out. Lakeshore trail nearby nice easy hike with great Jackson Lake views.

Our family traveled from suburban Philadelphia to 12 national parks out west. This by far was one of our favorite locations the entire trip. We stayed here on our drive in to Yellowstone. The view of the Tetons and the lake at the base of the camp was incredible. We watched meteors fall over the lake and it was amazing. We stayed in the RV portion of the park which appeared to be almost entirely booked. Book well in advance of your stay. There is a store and laundry at the front of the RV park. Things are about 10% higher in cost in the park so it pays to be prepared. We had a pull through site for our RV with full hookups. Nearby families were not to loud and most were friendly. This is a good location to have a Basecamp for exploring the Tetons of even Yellowstone. Ps: if traveling to more than 2 national parks, I strongly suggest getting the national park pass. It saved my family a ton of money. It paid for itself after 3, maybe 4 parks.

Great staff they went out of their way to get us a camping site. They're more than a bit pricey for anything you need to purchase unfortunately. But since there's seriously nothing else around. Best get used to the high prices. Hey it's a tourist trap they're all that way. Overall we loved the place it was more than worth going. Be sure to expect over priced everything? Bought 2 canned sodas, 2 National Park walking stick medals @$5.99, 2 National Park window stickers @$3.99 each and 1 peach. At a total cost $43.85? My fault I really should have looked at the total at the register. Instead of at the receipt after opening the drinks and taking a bite from the peach. As I stated kinda pricey to say the least. I'm a knife collector. Saw one with a bone handle and 3" blade. Was seriously going to purchase until I was told the price. They wanted $450.00? Well,,,,,obviously I wasn't even going to pay that price! Handed it back to the cashier telling them, "Apparently you want it more than I do" yes kinda pricey. Still amazing place to say the least. Just watch the pricing. Just look at the picture from their parking lot. Need I say more.

Loved this campground. It's extremely hard to get a full hookup site so make sure you book ASAP (at least in the summer). You can book up to 6 months in advance. The campground is shaded, walking distance to the Colter Bay Village and the beach with killer views.

We stayed here while seeing the Grand Tetons for a couple nights. Nice RV park with full hookups. Large pines in the campground. Pull through sites. #480 was our site. We have a 34’ fifth wheel. Fit nice.

Potable water available. Our campsite had a trail directly to the lake! The kids loved hiking down and enjoying the water. They have bear proof storage for food at each campsite as well.

There's dirt everywhere! And animals, trees, bugs (the fun kinds, spiders and such), freshish air, trails... Liked all of the shade. Kids freaked out a bit about the spiders in the bathrooms but they are needed to control the mosquitoes. So trade-off. The spiders mind their own business. The bathrooms could use some repairs, stall doors that don't shut or stay shut and faucets that don't stay on for more than a second. Signal Mt campground facilities are in better shape.

We loved our stay at Colter Bay. The rocky beach was beautiful and, even though it was chilly, was perfect for lounging and swimming after our hikes. The facilities were well cared for and they have everything you need on site: groceries, a restaurant, showers, laundry, etc. I also love that they had a generator free section. Being in a tent loop is always great for getting good views of the stars.
