Update: I received a call and apology for what we dealt with during our stay. In the end, be very careful that you don't accidentally book a site that has a companion site attached to it, unless you'rewith a companion. They also mentioned there is no limit on site guests during the day; only overnight guests. When I said they might want to recondider that in companion sites, it  seemed it will continue to be their policy. I used to stay here a lot when I had a pop-up camper, so my oldest child begged to come back.  They have done a good job updating, and the hot tub was a great addition.  However, we learned on our 2nd night that there is a companion site, attached to our site.  If you don't book it, anyone can.  On Saturday night there were 20+ people and 5 vehicles trying to park in this "companion site".  The 4th vehicle made it so we couldn't walk out of the site, so we asked them to move it.  They did, but they stayed up all night partying, with 6 visits from park staff telling them they needed to close it down.  The next day I asked for more info on what portion of the site was designated to the companion site, and it was a fraction of what they took up.  The camp host said it was illegal for them to have that many people in the site, so not sure why they did not get kicked out.  The camp host was appalled by what happened and said the owners would come by our site to discuss.  We received no visit, no email, no phone call, etc.  The next night a 24 foot motor home took up the companion site.  Luckily they were a quiet family not trying to take advantage of the situation.  The lack of attention from the extremely obtrusive guests make me never want to come back.  I hope the owners learn that ignoring those affected by other guests, only attracts more of the entitled guests.  We unfortunately will not be going back, despite the convenient access to trails and upgraded pool area.

Glamped in this area for years, first time at Cotillion. It's cozy and quiet. Not far from Santa Cruz, and right outside of Felton. Site 35 is great, it's tucked away in the back, and has a trailhead to Henry Cowell state park to the side of the site.

There is free wifi at the sites, a game room with a few arcades, ping pong, foozball, and a billiards table. There is a pool, jacuzzi, basketball, a small playground for the littles and a dog park.

Probably gonna make this the new home-base for the Santa Cruz area.

Lovely place, but never before I paid for a 9 months old baby, not even when we are eating in restaurants. So yes, every extra person (kids) costs and 80$ for a small tent spot without electricity or water is crazy. They close the pool 6pm, and God forbid you will pass your check out time. Hot tub was closed today, so don’t feel that we got what we paid for.

Going downhill!! We've stayed here probably 5 times in the past three years and this trip will probably be the last. You can tell the new owners are just money hungry!  Park was beyond overcrowded, with some camps having at least 20 people in them, with 3-4 cars as well.  NO JOKE.  Instead of it being relaxing, there was blaring music all day, people screaming, kids running through people's campsites, fireworks (though they are illegal in SC County!), bathrooms are dirty and often out of toilet paper and no staff to be found after about 5pm (they don't even restock before leaving). Owners made the entrance like a carnival with a bounce house and carnival games so almost impossible to drive in and out.

We used to love this place and always recommended it .... But no more.

Ive been visiting Santa Cruz for decades and had never checked this place out. Boy was I missing out on a hidden gem!

With direct access to Henry Cowell and a short drive to town there’s plenty to explore. The staff is fantastic, grounds kept clean, and the redwoods are gorgeous.

I was month to month and my stay was great. Staff very hospitable and accommodating. I very much felt at home and made many quality friends. It was a bit sad to leave as I had to relocate for another Job location. But thank you all at Cotillion for an outstanding pleasemt stay love you guys.

We had an awesome stay at cotillion rv park. It's true that spaces could be tight, We have a 25' trailer with a 19' truck but it fits perfectly. The neighbor was a little close to our right side just because they have slide outs. We are at site 23, it has full hookups and is well maintained, with an old picnic table and also a metal fire ring. It has easy access to hiking which we took advantage of, walking to the san Lorenzo river and Old train trestle bridge. The roads going to the park are curvy and narrow but the view is astonishing but make sure you pay attention because a lot of hikers and bikers park around the area and it is close to henry cowell redwoods state park. We will be adding this to our favorite rv campsite and probably visit again and stay a Little longer. One more thing, this rv camp site is a nature camp site and not a luxury camp site, stop comparing it to those sites, this site is perfect as it can be if you want to be around trees and nature. 👍

This was our first time staying here and we were very happy. The end of October was definitely the time to stay here. We arrived on Monday and left on Friday and the park was pleasantly quite. Our site was neat and clean, had ample space to enjoy outside and we backed up to a little creek. The lady who checked me in was pleasant, provided good advice on how to approach our site and back in making set-up a breeze. We like a quiet camp so I don't know if we'd come back during the summer busy season, but we will definitely come back in fall and winter.

Just got done staying a week here. Very well kept campsites. Some are really tight. We were in 40 and were happy with it. Very quiet and peaceful. Super nice employees. My only gripe is how small the back bathroom is. It needs to be extended like 2 feet so the stall door isn’t in your face or even cut it down to one toilet. Otherwise it was a pleasant stay and a great base for exploring the area.

We visited here recently and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The facilities (hot showers, clean toilets with tissue, laundry facility, and Wi-Fi too) and closeness to the shops kept any tenting fears away.
The fire pits were great and the open cooking area ensured lots of yummy hot food was served.
The only challenge was doing the dishes with cold water in the sink. Will need to level up and be more prepared next time. I am a little jealous of the many big RVs nearby!

Update - Been  going here for years but has down graded a lot. More like a big rip off now that there are new owners. My family used to go every year bu they didn’t save our spots after years! Super disappointed in what it’s become.

We will NEVER be back. We camp 4-5xs a year and this was by far THE WORST place we’ve ever stayed. It’s so overpriced, and the women in office are NOT HELPFUL. $240 for THREE nights is insane, especially when our site doesn’t even have power. And when we spoke the the office ladies they basically said not our problem. Don’t waste your money. go up the street to smithwood, no showers or pool, but better than this dump. 

This park is really adorable and is a nice little hideaway. The location is great as it’s really close to major roads and a lot of great places to eat and shop. The staff here was very affable and courteous, accommodating us with everything we could need. The park was really nice and cleans all throughout, especially the facilities. We got a lot out of the amenities they offered and the activities. There was so much to do that enabled us to vie a lot more gorgeous sights. This park is definitely a quaint little hideaway that is surprisingly close to the busyness of Santa Cruz and the surrounding areas. There's a bit of a sound barrier against all the white noise of the more populated areas, so it quickly turned into exactly the vacation I wanted. I know a lot of folks who come here to be close to the city to go exploring, specifically to go to the wineries and the Monteray Bay aquarium, but it's also perfect for a peaceful getaway. I didn't have any issues with the amenities. Everything was super well organized and clean, and really liked that every RV site had a cable hookup.
