Just got fleeced by this campground, the campground offers propane, I live locally and this would save me a trip to top off my tanks before I leave for a trip, had 2 tanks that I wanted to top off and the guy filling the tanks said its like $3 and change per gallon, my 2 tanks only took 3 gallons and I said great under $10, I go in and pay and the counter help says we have a minimum  charge for the tanks and the fee will be $21.13 for 3 gallons and I'm giving you a break on price! I mentioned to her is your policy on this posted anywhere and she said no. Her response was all campgrounds do this! Wow nothing like getting robbed in the middle of the day.
l'll never use this place again, and go to Blue Compass RV  or Menards.

Absolutely amazing experience at Cross Creek Campground!

We just had the best weekend ever — the highlight of our entire fall season was the Glow Parade! My kids and I had such a blast, and it’s something we’ll be talking about for a long time. The campground is beautiful, clean, and family-friendly, but what truly makes it special is the staff. Every single person we met was so kind, accommodating, and genuinely welcoming. You can really tell they care about creating a fun, safe, and memorable experience for everyone. We can’t wait to come back — Cross Creek has officially become our new favorite fall getaway! 🍂✨

We've stayed here a few times thru the years. All I have to say is. It's went down everytime we've came back. Last we were next to monthly renters that were a little scary. This time these monthly campers are using their non registered vehicle for storage. Along with a tent on the side. Extention cords running everywhere, and 3 vehicles. The non registered car thru us. But after the first night hearing them all night and morning slamming the storage car doors, we were happy our week was up. Firepit had crap all in it. They for sure need to take the resort off of this. Nothing but an over priced monthly campground. We will not be taking another chance on this place.

The resort was great! Although very crowded at times like this. The pool was also closed and the only reason I have chosen it was due to the heated pool that was shown in the amenities. The area was just right to fit the rv but not the vehicle you are bringing. We have 35ft class A. Probably not going to be back. But service was great.

We were in a big rig site. Once you come in the park to the check in you are past where you can maneuver to the site. The worker was very helpful. She came up with a possible solution and drove my husband on the golf cart to see if it would work and it did. Nice dog park, lots of shade, a lot of activities.

Nice campground, clean, some trees, paved roads.  We are having a nice stay. It's just a little pricey, but it seems all campgrounds are charging as much as they can these days. *sigh*

Wonderful campground. Well kept. Nice fellow campers.  Refreshing pool.  Great camp store. Personable, pleasant, and helpful staff. Thanks for a terrific weekend.

We visited from Canada for the 4th of July wkd. The place was perfect for our stay with our 30ft travel trailer. Our site had been previously flooded so was a bit uneven but ok once the rug was down. Having full hookups was great, and the pool was a really nice way to cool off in the heat. Close to shopping and softball fields, but far enough away to have some quiet.

We have been staying at Cross Creek for the last several years, starting before it was bought by Applebrook. We stayed three nights in June and I feel the quality of the park has really started to diminish. I feel as if I am paying top dollar for a state park experience. The sites are well used, weeds everywhere and need some leveling and grading. Worse was the bathhouse. It used to be so clean, all the time. Now, not so much. If it needs to be cleaned twice a day, then it should be cleaned twice a day. The family friendly vibe seems to be lost. There is a lot of heavy drinking going on which leads to loud, obnoxious behavior which goes on past quiet hours. I loved finding beer cans in my site our last morning. Were going to give it one more chance and hope it gets better.

We have stayed there for years with other families when we would all travel for our baseball tournaments. Last year we noticed a decline; the park itself wasn’t as kept up, the pool was often closed for lack of lifeguards, and personnel just wasn’t as friendly or accommodating. When we went to book this year, now they won’t let any “dangerous dog breeds” in (we have a very well-behaved Rottie) and they were less than pleasant in their response to our inquiry. I understand this is per insurance, but you’re pushing more and more people away. We have chosen to go elsewhere and when another family from our team, who had already booked, wanted to cancel their reservation to change as well, they wouldn’t refund their July 4th weekend. Again, I understand this is policy for holidays, but we are still 4 months out. Sometimes, taking the time to be understanding of people’s situations and attempting to accommodate goes a long way in gaining and retaining loyal customers.

Beautiful place, lots of things to do. Friendly staff. Will definitely stay there again. FHU (water, sewer, 50 & 30 amp). WIfi was so so. No cable. Good size playground, very nice big pool, tennis court. Club house, game room, shelter. Big rig friendly, Good Sam. Lots of grass, blacktop streets. Gravel sites but level. Chose Cross Creek for our first outing with our new Winnebago. We made a great choice. Quiet, clean, great sites, friendly people. We will definitely go back. So quiet in the evening you could hear a pin drop.
