I have to start off by saying that if you’re looking for a quiet and peaceful campground- this is not it. We had groups on either side of us who were LOUD, well past “quiet hours”. Screaming kids running around, and loud drunk adults. Drunk to the point where they went to all neighboring sites and invited us all to hang out with them. If I was looking to stay up til midnight, drink, and chitchat, it would have been a blast! But I was a bit disappointed as we were really hoping for a relaxing stay. Staff never seemed to drive by to enforce quiet hours that night. I can see how it can be a great campground to stay at if you’re looking to have some family fun with a large group. While I didn’t use the amenities, they had a rec center with arcade games, a pool, and a little mini golf. Our site was gorgeous since it was right on the river, but the sites were cramped together like sardines. There was absolutely no privacy, especially with the loud groups on either side of us. There was a portapotty nearby which was convenient. They did have a real bathroom and shower, but it’s a bit of a far walk if you’re staying by the river. I would consider staying again if I was in a group, otherwise it’s not worth the trip for the two of us looking to relax and unwind at the end of the week.

These people are awful. I had a family emergency come up and gave them over a weeks notice of my cancellation and they kept all my money. Refused to give anything back. They are absolutely heartless and the worst!!!

Great new management here, Todd set us up with water & lent us a long hose so we could set for the week.., great location! Sugar river flows right through the property! Love it here!

Great week of camping!! We’ve done a father/son trip here for 5 years now and it’s a great way to disconnect. New owners as of this year and already making some upgrades including an arcade in the barn and site renovations, and bathrooms/showers are kept very clean. Weather is the x-factor, but if it holds out it is truly a great way to relax, and Lake/Mt. Sunapee/Adventure Park is only a short drive away. Grocery store and all amenities are within five minutes downtown, you get the best of both worlds. Thanks again!

Great option for younger kids. Well kept grounds. Pool, mini-golf, and small pavilion area with an arcade. Just the right amount of entertainment. Some of the tent sites are pretty small. Seasonal renters are friendly. Staff was great. Good location: it's only about a 15 minute drive to decent hiking and Lake Sunapee.

We are full-time RVers and spent 2 weeks in this lovely campground in fall 2021. The owners are friendly, as is the staff. The location and property were quite lovely. It was a nice place for a walk, or to sit and read. Since we both work on the road, an added benefit was the ability to purchase broadband for our time there. The town nearby has a few good restaurants, and the grocery store was good. Cable would be a nice addition to the park as the local channels are limited (How many times can you watch Baywatch?). There are what appears to be some full-time units, but these are kept up. Flowers are planted in many places and its fun to watch for turtles and ducks in the small pond that is available for swimming during warm weather. We recommend this place.

What an amazing campground! The owners are friendly and make you feel right at home. The grounds are beautiful with sites for every type of camping experience. All the amenities you could possibly want. We really enjoyed our stay and can't wait to come back.

Good home base to explore the Sunapee NH area. Reasonably priced.

Our stay at Crow's Nest far exceeded our expectations! What set this campground apart from others we have stayed at was the level of service and friendliness of the employees. Not only did they ask if we needed firewood when booking, they actually had it at the site when we arrived. Upon checking in, we were personally escorted to our site to ensure we had every thing we needed. The wooded area along the river was simply amazing. The sites, bath house, recreation area and playground were clean and very well maintained. I never saw an overflowing trash can, everything was litter free and even the standalone toilets were extremely clean. There was so much to do on the property: corn hole, billiards, arcade games, air hockey, swimming pond, giant chess/checkers, etc. We loved it so much, we already reserved our sites for 2022. Thank you to the owners, management and employees for making Crow's Nest a wonderful family campground!

As we wind down our camping season we decided to camp close to home. Crowsnest Campground is clean, quiet and spacious. The rates are very reasonable. The staff was extremely friendly when I checked in and led me to our site with the firewood I purchased, as well as answering any questions I had regarding the park. The wooded section is awesome and close to the river. We will definitely be back next year.
