Have had the pleasure of hosting this campground for the summer of 2025. Wanted to say that these are some of the nicest, most hospitable fellow campers you could camp with. Very loyal following of this campground and it is easy to see why. Also as a heads up, because there is increasing confusing with new arrivals at this point in the season: all sites are currently first come, first serve, until we close, which is September 28th. Enjoy, and happy camping! We look forward to seeing you!

Camp hosts were fantastic! The campsites were raked & tidy. The outhouse were very clean & well kept. Nice campground.

The hosts do a great job. Everything was clean and tidy. We stayed in both loops. 1-15 seemed to have dense trees and was closer to the creek. I was testing new portable solar panels and StarLink. The trees obstructed both but worked okay. I stayed at the other loop and the trees were not as thick and the sound of the creek was softer. But still a great campground.

Very nice forest service campground. Level spots spaced out so you’re not right on top of each other. Right at the Montana end of Beartooth Pass.

Beautiful campground right on creek. Very quiet. Host was very nice and answered all questions. Pit toilets were clean. Definitely a return will be in order

Great camp site. Views galore and great facilities. We got a first come first serve site. There was plenty of space. $20 per night.

Pleasantly surprised that the camp sites are still accessible even after the regular season. We found a beautiful site along the creek to spend the night on our road trip.

The grandkids like playing on the big rock, throwing rocks in the creek and walking up to Greeno Lake! It is clean and easy access...right by the Beartooth highway!

We rolled in on our motorcycles late on a July day and found the last open spot. This is a great creek side campground at the base of Beartooth Pass. The host keeps the pit toilets immaculate, following COVID protocols. When we travel on our motos it’s so nice to have bear lockers. I sleep better!!

Nice primitive campgrounds outside of Yellowstone. The vault toilets are not too smelly but go earlier in the mornings around 7 and they are not bad at all and contain less flies. The host sells firewood for $5 a bundle which isn't bad. The campground is about a couple hours from the Yellowstone entrance but Beartooth highway has absolutely the most beautiful views from the top. Red Lodge is only about a 20 minute drive, I'd suggest checking out the local brewery there if you have time (great beer and food!). Overall, good campground and conveniently located off the highway, and no cell service.
