Fortunately/Unfortunately you've found the best RV park in the Denver metro area. The city of Denver has no quality RV parks at all which is very unfortunate for anyone visiting. Most of them are sketchy at best. Dakota Ridge is in a great area with lots to do around. It is a very safe area. Sites are well kept and the staff has always been friendly and accommodating to us. The open space behind the park is nice to talk a walk in, especially if you have a dog. Now for the unfortunate part. The sites can be very small. The biker bar with the outdoor stage across the street is brutal if you are on the north end of the park. We have stayed on the south end of the park and it is more manageable. Some of the amenities are a little run down. The price is also steep for what you get. Would I stay here if there was a nicer option around, probably not. However considering the other choices in Denver, this park is heads above the competition. There are some state/county parks in the area that have RV sites. Good luck getting a site though unless you book months and months in advanced. Denver is just too big and the rv camping is so limited.

I lived at Dakota Ridge RV Resort for 2 months and an had overall wonderful experience. Please see some photos and a video I took of half the park on a little drive thru for reference. The place is both clean and VERY safe. They pick your trash up daily from 8-4:30 if you leave it out at the end of your site for them to grab. They have a refill for propane on site which is very convenient especially in bad weather, just call the office and someone will come assist you with the refill. I stayed fall into winter and we had a couple of snow days so having that resource at the ready is important. There’s a playground, pool area, laundry, showers and very small workout room in the main building area at the center of the park. I didn’t get to experience the pool and the workout space is outdated a bit so we didn’t bother (a nice walk thru the park with the views is much better). The laundry room was great to have open 24 hours! Amazon and Walmart deliver right to your site so it’s super convenient for deliveries. There are an over abundance of stores within a 10 min drive so it’s extremely convenient. My site was bordering the main road where there are some stores and a biker bar across the street. The bar does have some fri/sat evening entertainment during warmer months which really didn’t bother us. It never went into super late hours. I’ve seen comments on this particularly and truthfully …. It’s nothing to make a fuss over!! Back in sites are less expensive than pull thru so just call to get the rates if you’re looking to save a couple bucks. They also don’t have dog breed restrictions as far as I’m aware which was nice to see. It’s a beautiful location in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains- what can be better? Golden felt like home while we were there.. we will be back! 10/10

Great location, close to mountain trails and highways. The noise isn't too bad at all. They are about the same price as other similar places in the area. A few additional perks include the proximity of various amenities: the Lifetime gym is just 8 minutes away, Whole Foods is 6 minutes away, and a car wash is conveniently located 3 minutes away. There are many restaurants nearby, along with some cool bars. Overall, this RV park is one of my favorites. Oh, and Amazon delivers here very quickly. Considering all the perks of this RV park, I highly recommend staying here for both short and long stays.

I'll go ahead and warn you cause the owners are aware but dont tell you. The bar across the street is SO LOUD. They play terrible music until 10pm every day and once that stops the motorcycles start revving their engines. You will get little to no sleep here. I even asked the front desk after the first night how long the music goes on for and the lady shameless said until 10pm. They just don't tell you this when you book. The wifi did not work. The restrooms were closed for cleaning for more than 3 hours a day. They padlock the dumpster for some reason at night. Also they charge $5/ per day FOR EACH CHILD. We paid over $300 for off season for three nights and it was one of the worst experiences at an RV park I've ever had. Save your money and go elsewhere.

They turned us away because my Van wasn’t pretty enough or converted enough? Don’t waste your money on these turned up noses of a so called RV Park operators. We have travel from coast to coast and have never been turned away because they had to view Photos of our van pre reservation! What a shame!
