Probably the one of the nicest in the area off the highway. We stopped in on our way through TX. It's a much nicer park than many of the others in the area. Pretty modern. Showers clean, staff is outstanding, well maintained. In the fall a fair number of longer term residents. Not a lot of highway noise. Staff called when weught not show up by 6pm, super helpful. We work remotely and know better than to depend on campground wifi. This rings true herenat this location. Despite great wifi signal, router was non-responsive to joining the network in theeving, regardless of device or park location. This cleared up in the AM and I saw download speeds exceeding 500Gb. Many units had starlink and this is what we used during the day/evening.

Great people, great place. Clean showers. Nice playground for the littles. Fishing. Nice sized sites. Pretty good WiFi! Very good for a camp. Traffic on I30 outside Dallas wasn't fun for those of us not accustomed to it but so far, so good. Close to the highway but highway noise? Little to none.

We had a great time in one of the cabins that hung over the lake! Our family of 5, plus a dog, enjoyed the porch swing, and the kiddos loved exploring around the lake and the playground. You should know that behind the cabin is a small firepit with an old (and slightly broken) picnic table. Bring your own camp chairs, and you should be fine. The campground owners were very sweet, and we are looking forward to coming back!

We had a good time here very friendly and great service. The women at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Our truck broke down and we were stranded. Needed to move sites midweek for the weekend and she found someone to help. Thanks for a very pleasant stay during a difficult time.
