I have been coming to this park my entire life. However, lately it has deteriorated greatly. As many schools visit this park for the wildlife, carousel & train experiences- just know that train is and has been out of service. The carousel has been out of order and was just fixed within the last couple of days. When you go to buy tickets, please don't expect to be greeted with a smiling face. As seen in the video, this lady was nothing but rude. This was sent to me after I told the story of how she treated me. I expect better from a tax payer funded park. Oh and let's talk about the bathrooms. There is no water in the restroom sinks. If you miss the folded over sign on the door, you'll figure it out after you put soap on your hands. But fear not, there is a temporary hand sanitizer station located right outside of the restrooms that is also out of order. So after a day of touching animals and playing on the playground, if you want to eat with clean hands, bring your own water bottle or hand sanitizer.

Beautiful park away from the city, Great place to relax, cook out or camp out. Very clean

Lots to do at this park, and all the activities are reasonably priced for a family fun day. We were there for hours and didn't even make it to the lake for paddle boats.

Playgrounds are great (though we dislike the rubber “mulch” and it’s out-gassing smells). Trail was fun with lots of baby roads hopping around. Splash pad was great end to the adventure, though we adults disliked that there were no overhangs for shade at the splash pad area. Got sunburned just standing there next to the scorching hot benches.
