Lots to do at this park, and all the activities are reasonably priced for a family fun day. We were there for hours and didn't even make it to the lake for paddle boats.

Playgrounds are great (though we dislike the rubber “mulch” and it’s out-gassing smells). Trail was fun with lots of baby roads hopping around. Splash pad was great end to the adventure, though we adults disliked that there were no overhangs for shade at the splash pad area. Got sunburned just standing there next to the scorching hot benches.

Went with the family to get some outdoor time and just connect with everyone. We haven't been there in years, so we did it all and reminisced about went the kids were small and the fun we had there.

Lovely park with a nice trail around the lake, campground, concessions, fishing shop, restrooms, big playground, and plenty of space for dogs and people to play and run.

Awesome park. They have lots of trailheads tons of parks. They were doing some construction on the park so some areas were closed down. Very well maintained and clean. I’d recommend this park anytime.

It was a beautiful day & wanted my kids to have fun. Nice play equipment for kids from 2 & up. Safe environment with walking trails, water pad, & a small zoo also. We go every time we are in the area.

Very nice. My grandkids had a great time. Was there for my grandsons birthday party. I think my 34 year son had just as much fun as the little ones.

We love this park. I've been coming for reunions since I was a child and now I'm bringing my own children. There are fun things to do and plenty of shelters. I'd like to see more reptiles and animals in the zoos.

This is the worst place I have ever seen as far as handicapped people are concerned. Yes there are great picnicking facilities, great putt-putt and playground, great petting zoo, great paddle boating...but they have so much blocked off it is impossible for a handicapped person - or even a person who has trouble walking - to get to these attractions. I thought that businesses had to be handicap friendly. I was told they closed the road due to the splash pad and children running around. Understandable. But maybe they should put the splash pad in a more remote area or put in a new road to the attractions. Whoever planned that renovation was certainly not thinking of the entire population. Maybe they are in violation of some federal mandates. I don't know. But I do know the pain and the feelings of defeat when I can't walk to to an attraction and I have no way else to get there. Shame on you Dan Nicholas Park.

Our family gathers here every September for a Family Reunion. Today we had a very great day. Everyone that worked at the park were very helpful and friendly. I love Dan Nicholas Park and my nieces and nephews really enjoyed the train and the gorgeous carousel . Thank you for taking care of such a beautiful park.
