Nice park. A lot of people fishing. Great for small ones to fish. Trappers Lake Trail was very nice, easy walk. Interesting history of Davidsonville, make sure to visit the Historic Town site.

Love this place I have been going since I was a kid on field trips. Now I'm an adult taking my kid fishing, and it's still a great place. clean restrooms, and the park upkeep is top-notch

Davidsonville Arkansas State Park has two nice and easy walking trails, mostly shaded. The tiny museum has a lot of interesting information about the long abandoned area. There is also a small gift shop with snack purchases available. No swimming is allowed in the lake but you can fish. Nice place for a picnic. Nice playground tòo.

Had a ball with grandson. Hiked around lake then back to visitors center to cool off and onto the historical site. Amazing place very unique. Loved the beautiful huge trees..

Viewed the 2024 solar eclipse here today. This park was a delight, staff were incredibly friendly, and the visitor area was selling cheap concessions when they could have easily gouged us. This was such a pleasant find, a lovely park with a cool history.

Very nice campsites! Very clean. Good drainage (in case of heavy rains). Nice hookups. The dump station is not level, so we dumped at campsite. Rangers are all very nice and helpful. Check out visitors center and museum. All well-curated, for understanding the importance of the settlement for the area’s development.
