The rooms were very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was amazing with generous portions. The room was a little small and was dated, but we were comfortable.

We had a great stay here for a business trip. The staff was absolutely awesome. The food was great. They do not have a full bar so if you're looking for that you will have to drive to into the city. Maybe Hot Springs

We try to make this a stop on road trips when traveling along I-30. It's not far off freeway & great alternative to a hotel: beautiful lake and woods bring calm & relaxation after a day of driving. Rooms are large and comfortable. Dining on site so you don't have to get back in the car to go get something to eat. Friendly service & staff

De Gray State Park Lodge is very clean, has beautiful views, pool and even a fitness center. The lodge restaurant is lovey and has a small bar. The place where there is room for improvement is the food menu selections. Although adequate, it is not a drawing card. I enjoyed our visit and hope to return.

Very nice Lodge. No microwave in room but does have a small refrigerator with no freezer. TV is very small but we stayed on the lake most of the time. Don't eat at the Lodge restaurant. It's terrible! But every person that works at this Lodge is excellent! Couldn't ask for friendlier and helpful staff. The waitress at the restaurant was super but the food was not ! Terrible to have such a nice facility and staff and hot food served cold and probably made at lunch. We ate around 5pm and no more than 6 people in the restaurant but food was served cold. Cold baked potato wouldn't melt the butter and veggies were cold. Garlic bread cold. Poor cook.. 😂

The resort is beautiful. It says water view but there is no access from the room to the water. I was on the third floor and it was beautiful, the lake visible from the bed. The beds are soft and the pillows are to die for! If you're cold at night bring a blanket. The lake is gorgeous. I didn't get to fish but i saw quite a few fishing boats out there. Not a lot of activity on the water so it was really quiet for a weekend. I'm going to rent a yurt next time.

Beautiful views, tons of geese, gentle deer, disc golf, golf, full service marina, cozy yurts, lots of campsites, clean lodge, restaurant with reliable food quality,... Need candy or snacks? Visitor center has it. Marina has it. Lodge has it. Younger kiddos interested in slides and a little playground time? There is a playground at the swim beach/boat launch area. There is a playground outside the lodge. We visited in late May when water levels were excessively high & there was still plenty of beach and mostly safe access points everywhere. SUP and kayak rentals used to only be available at the marina, but now there's a self-service kiosk at the swim beach. Very convenient. Water had amazing clarity, even after a few days of storms. We still miss the stables being operational, but that era really truly seems over.

My visit to DeGray Lake Resort State Park was unforgettable. I was there for a yoga festival but had the chance to join both the guided kayak tour and the interpretive boat ride, and I can’t recommend them enough. The kayak tour was peaceful and perfectly paced. The interpreter leading the group, Scott, was friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the local wildlife and environment. As we glided along the lake’s edge, he pointed out herons, frogs, eagles, turkey vultures and talked about the history of the lake It felt like I was learning and relaxing at the same time. The boat tour offered a different perspective, and it was equally enjoyable. Sitting back while cruising through the open water, we learned about the history of the lake, local legends, and ongoing conservation efforts. The interpreter kept things engaging, balancing facts with fun stories that made the whole experience feel personal and memorable. Whether you’re a nature enthusiast or just looking for a calm way to connect with the outdoors, this is a beautiful place!

We were there for Wellness on the Water. The staff were fantastic and the help of Vance made it all possible. His help, professionalism, and hospitality were greatly appreciated. Our stay at the park resort was wonderful. I want to give a shout-out to Hawley too. She was very pleasant and helpful to speak too. I highly recommend visiting Lake DeGray and stay at the resort. You won't be disappointed.

We had a wonderful weekend at Degray! We were a group of 60 during Easter weekend and had such a wonderful time. One big reason we had a blast was because the staff at degray was so welcoming and accommodating. They were so helpful and spent the entire weekend with us with a smile on their faces. That meant the world to us and we will definitely be back!

We stayed at the campground. It was nice, but we had trouble checking in with our phone. It was reservation only. The sign said we could get a hold of the office in the morning. There were only 3 campsites with campers and a guy at the entrance. The guy by the entrance kept driving around by us, which was weird, and then someone busted our cap window in the night. We don't have proof but feel strongly it was busted by that guy, especially because we had talked to the other campers in the evening.

The beaches at DeGray Lake are surprisingly beautiful—peaceful, uncrowded, and ideal for families with children. The water is calm and shallow near the shore, which makes it perfect for a safe splash or just dipping your toes in on a warm afternoon. The surrounding forest and the clarity of the lake create a dreamy, postcard-worthy view.
