It's pretty much just a parking lot to camp or park your RV, camper van to tent. It is right up against the beach though so nice views. I was at the North inlet side and Mike the site host was very nice.

We enjoyed our stay. It’s beautiful at night with the bridge. Lots to do. Has kiddo playground. The sites are nice. Restroom and shower are clean. Good area to fish in. Has a full marina and an excellent restaurant. Dock Side bar and grill. Totally recommend it. Beach has a lovely view.

Love this beach! Always clean with easy shower access. My family has been coming here for generations and we always have a great time!

Not our jam for camping, we prefer woods. Friends had said how much they loved his SP so we tried it. Of course we arrived during a heat wave. Lots of campers all but jammed together. Easy access to bath houses scattered throughout. Gate attendants and camp hosts were very friendly. Easy access to the beach and to fishing. No fires at campsites (not that we wanted one when we were there). Bethany is an easy bicycle ride down the generous bike lane on route 1.

I personally did not have a positive experience. Given that it is a state park and had campground, I was expecting traditional camping set up in the woods. There were no trees, but more like a field. There were winds constantly, and it made it hard to enjoy sitting outside. With the bridge in sight, there were cars passing by constantly. No campfire was allowed.. I think this place works out well for someone who has a camper or trailer, and for those who want to stay near the beach. For me with tent, it wasn’t exactly what I was hoping for. I ended up booking another campsite.

Great place to fish and explore. There is a good place to surf. Launch a boat. Get dinner. Get a fishing charter. Has a tackle ship. Camping options.

We got snowed in and the staff took great care of us. Checked on us in the morning. Shoveled, plowed and came right over when we couldn't get the key to work and were locked out in the snow! Thanks so much guys! You were great!

This is a beautiful place and they were having an art festival there. There's also an amazing restaurant here too seasonal place. You can dock your boat here, they have cabins you can stay in we did that one year.

A nice park in a cool location. The park is positioned next to/ under the bridge - so you have a unique view. The staff is really great. There's a camp store, the trash area, bathrooms, a play area for kids, and then of course the actual camp spots. The lady at the front sings a welcome song. 🙂 The bathrooms have showers and are kept pretty clean. The shower area is kind of locker room style, i.e. not much privacy. We car camped in a Prius. There's not much space in between each spot and there is little to no tree coverage. The beach is close and there are nice walking paths. Between the South and the north side, I think there's something around 400 spots. In the summer it is pretty busy. I was impressed at how quiet it was at night considering the amount of campers that were there. Also, you can't beat the proximity to the ocean. The pass for your car gets you into all the different parks in the area- not just the one you're booked at.

Love camping on the north side. The beach is within walking distance and isn't very crowded. The bathrooms are decent. There is a bit of traffic noise, but it's not annoying. I've been here multiple times.

We love Delaware Seashore State Park. My wife and I have been coming here since the early 1980s. We've camped in a tent, van, travel trailer, truck camper and now a fifth wheel. This is a great place to camp and be close to the beach. The prices here are cheaper than anywhere that is close to the shore. I would recommend Delaware Seashore State Park to any campers looking for a nice camp sight at a great price.

Love watching the boats rip through the inlet. Fishermen are always fun to watch too. Look for the walking path at the very back of the park. Good stuff.

It's a big park. Unfortunately, the check out time stated online doesn't match what they tell you. Online it says 1:00. They tell you it's 12:00, and they will repeatedly remind you. In other words, not a pleasant place to camp. Stay somewhere else if you want to enjoy yourselves. No electric or water at the sites.
