The access is not plowed in winter, but still nice view of the Alaska Range from the highway.

The northern viewpoint for Denali - it has more space for parking and overnight camping but a slightly less good view of the mountain as the peak stands out less. Definitely worth stopping if you are planning to head all the way through the pass up to Fairbanks but if you’re just travelling up from Anchorage for the view then the south view point is all you need.

Great viewing point for the great one. We stopped to stretch our legs during the long drive south and Denali was partially visible. We webby reading about the white man's history but we disappointed that there wasn't more about the native stories surrounding the great mountain. Still, it's a great viewing point.

Denali National Park is my favorite. It is huge! This view point is south of the mountain and has a lot of interesting facts about its white man history. I found it odd that the native stories and beliefs about Denali were omitted. However, the mountain was out, and I have system the native origin stories, so I was able to share with the members of our party. Still, I think that there should be some major recognition of the people who revered the mountain long before it was discovered by Americans.

Great view of denali when the weather is right, be sure to get there early before the mountain makes its own weather

With all the days of grey and rain, it’s uncommon to see Denali from here.

The area was kept clean and had beautiful views of Denali. There was also camping sites which surprised me but they are very small Maybe better for tents.

Spacious area, but no privacy. Spectacular views. Nice trails and activities.

This review is a bit of nothing to say only to report the conditions as we came in the dead of winter in January. The entrance road was completely snowed over like over a foot a half of buildup. so we parked our vehicle outside the barrier and had our fight with the snow making a 1/10th mile walk feel like a while mile. The clouds were overcast and hid all the mountains in the viewpoint. Best I can say is if you make an attempt to the viewpoint in the middle of January like we did, it'll be a workout and probably disappointing. But the drive over is definitely worth the sights so that makes up for it.

Great spot for a tent camp
