Our balcony, equipped with two chairs and a small table, overlooked the Nenana River and gave us a direct view of the Alaska Railroad going by on the other side of the river. Their small store had all of the essentials. The staff was very kind and helpful. The beds were comfy. The rooms were clean. There are two food trucks on site - Thai and Chinese. Both were pretty good and not overly expensive for a resort. We'd recommend this place for your stay in the Denali Park area.

This place was off the beaten path so it was very quiet and peaceful. Our cabin was very comfortable. There are only a handful of cabins so you feel like you have the fire pits and the pond to yourself. My wife and I hope to stay there again soon.

The resort is in a fantastic location, and the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The views of the river are absolutely beautiful. The only drawback was that the room did not have a microwave or a refrigerator, which would have been convenient. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend this resort for its location, scenery, and spacious accommodations.

This place was disgusting. We stayed 2 nights and tried to leave after 1 because it was so awful, but were unable to cancel. The surroundings are beautiful, but stay across the street or in town instead. Our rooms were not cleaned prior to arrival (blood on pillowcase, used shampoo/conditioner, stains on blankets). We stayed the first night and woke up to bed bug bites and evident bed bugs in the bedding. They switched our rooms the next day with nothing more than a “sorry”. Moving multiple suitcases up and down a flight of wooden stairs at 10pm (no elevators) twice was not ideal or convenient. The reason we chose this hotel was their included shuttle, and even that was not convenient. The shuttle service was nice and they provided great service, but it was $10/person each time you requested their ride. Not ideal for a family of 6, and majority of the resorts/hotels in the area provide free, included shuttles. The shuttles to downtown also started at 3:00pm, so afternoon only, unlike the other hotels in the area. This location would be fine for camping, but nothing more. Do not stay in the hotel.

This hotel was booked as part of our tour of Denali. The room was spacious and cozy with a fantastic deck view of the river. The room doesn't have a microwave or fridge but there is a microwave in the laundry room. There is also an ice machine on site. There are also camp sites and cabins and a bath house. There is a small store on site with souvenirs and other essentials but it is pricey. The staff was helpful. There are 2 food trucks on site, one Thai and one Mexican.  Very cozy, comfortable and charming.  Only stayed one night, convenient to the park.

I didn’t expect much, as I was just staying here one night while visiting Denali National Park. The location was perfect for that, and the experience of living in a more “authentic” cabin was quite nice. However, even for a quick stay, it was not the most pleasant. I was told that WiFi wouldn’t be free, but I never expected it to be as expensive as it was. There was 30 minutes of complimentary WiFi, and after that it was 7 dollars an hour?! I understand this is a cabin in the woods, but I needed to get important work done, and was not able to do so because of the prices. The room was basic, as it was a cabin of course, and didn’t have a fridge, or microwave, but that wasn’t a problem for me. There were big clumps of dust in the corners as if it hadn’t been cleaned at all. The biggest problem for me was the windows. There were no curtains for the upper windows. Since it doesn’t get dark in summer, it was light inside the cabin all day since there were no curtains, shades, or blinds. I’m very sensitive and so it was really tough for me to sleep. As a whole, if you have nowhere to stay, this isn’t a bad choice, but not the best.

My Alaska trip was part of a tour group with Holiday vacations and this was one of our favorite hotels. The back decks with a view - you can't beat that. We had a beautiful day to sit outside into the evening.
Rooms were cozy and spacious.

Great location.  3 of us sharing 2 double beds.  Shower had very slow drain.  Had to stand in water.  Adopted scarcity mindset, since shampoo, soap and conditioner were in short supply.  After 1 shower, 2” diameter bar soap thinned to skinny, soggy mess.  Shower head was weak.  Better quality, more plentiful toiletries, a plunged shower drain, and a better shower head would significantly improve the room.  The location is great and the rustic style is charming.

Nice place.  Clean for the most part.   Disappointed there are no refrigerator, especially for the price.  And only 30 minutes of free wi-fi.

There is no AC, but not uncommon for the area, and with the sliding glass door open, it stayed cool in the room at night.  Fortunately I had a travel fan.   It would have been better in the evening if the resort had fans.

My room was over looking the river.  And the bed was very comfortable.

****There is a train that went through several times in the evening blowing their horn.

It's a decent spot near the Denali National Park. The room we had did not have a microwave or fridge, but we did have cable TV and drip coffee. The general store has everything you need to use the laundry facilities and they have decent food trucks on site. The only things I think of to improve guest experiences would be better black out curtains and to partner with the Park and offer Park passes on discount for guests.

It is abundantly clear that this place does NOT care about the guest experience.  Oddly missing typical hotel amenities that even the least expensive hotels have these days (no in-room phone, no fridge, no microwave, no AC or ceiling fans, no free wifi).  Keep in mind that they DO NOT have housekeeping services during your stay and if you need anything you must walk or drive to a separate office building to request anything.  The TV service was very limited and worked about 50% of the time.  I don’t know how this dump is still in business but their online photos make it look much nicer than it actually is.  Just remember there are virtually NO amenities so I would choose absolutely anywhere else.
