Rooms were nice and clean with no problems. The two women working front desk were extremely rude. We basically got lectured for 5 minutes straight about the laundry door code. We only had one towel in our room and they were extremely rude when we asked where the extra ones were. We asked what shelf they were on and she said “I’ll just come to your room to show” with a huge sigh. Not friendly staff what so ever!

Terrible stay ever , extra amount charge deducted from my card after a week of stay . No where it’s mentioned on their site that rooms are on second floor and they have no elevators and only stairs . Only after booking I was told that the room is on second floor . When I requested them to change within minutes they said 30% of the room charge would be charged for changing the room to first floor . I booked 2 queen beds suite with kitchen , highest amount of room charge possible in their hotel which sleeps 4 . We were 2 adults and 1 kid . And after a week of stay without my authorization or letting me know they deducted amount charge from my card for the child . Worst stay even with all the absurd policies , every hotel allows for a change within 24 hours they couldn’t even change in minutes and booking a suite with 2 queen beds they charged for the child even when we were only 3 for a room which sleeps 4 . Think twice while booking , cannot even take luggage to the rooms with very inconvenient high step old creepy stairs and no elevator . Very overpriced . 350$+ for a night . A big no , beware - person checking me in was the worst ever I have to deal with , very unpleasant -to talk - could be with name Sarena.

This is a combination property of a small motel and RV park. The rooms are large and clean with coffee makers in each room. The location of the motel is perfect behind a boardwalk mall that has many restaurants and shops far less expensive than in the Denali princess and Holland America resort. However, it is perfectly located directly across the street so you can pick up Tours and use the restaurants and services at the lodge, but without paying the higher lodge prices. The rooms are basic and motel is definitely older, but kept very clean. The staff is friendly and went out of their way to help us in every way. They offer free shuttle service from the rail stationand the driver was so accommodating.

Site is in an amazing location. Walkable to all shops and restaurants in the area. It had all the amenities needed like dump station, water, electric, trash, shower, etc. It wasn't glamorous by any means, kind of looked more like a parking lot that had random camper hookups but it was a great location and fit our needs.

The rooms were dated and could use a good dusting and updating. Office staff was not accommodating and gave conflicting information. Our driver Jace was great and tried to accommodate us it would have been nice if management did the same. Towels and bedding were worn. Best part was the convenient location to Denali and size of the room for 4 adults was good. Laundry was more expensive than surrounding hotels

Everything is fine, everything is new, but uncomfortable, no air conditioning, no drinking water, no hot water, the water was barely warm... although I dreamed of a hot shower. Unfortunately, I was wrong.

Very poor quality restrooms. 2 showers and 1 toilet for men for about 50 spaces. Location was definitely good.

Room was fine, but could be set up much more efficiently to give a full king bed or even two queens. Policy was weird making you agree like 3 times not to eat curry inside. Price was lowest available in the area but still absolutely friggin insane for a glorified shed. Edit: In reply to the response. My brother booked it and I was with him. 3 stars might seem like a bad rating, but it means "it's okay" and it was... Okay.

We did not stay in the motel or campground. However there is an open air strip mall of shops and eateries. We stopped with a tour bus and were rushed to eat. All places were very busy. On our two stops here during our travels we wanted pizza. Both times they were closed. On one stop we opted for Crepes. Again very busy but they got those orders out on a timely manner. I had the salmon and my wife had the campers special. They did put onions in that one when we requested no onions. However both were very tasty and filling. We also shared a banana/ Nutella crepe. A good place to stop.

This is a great facility, but you are basically in a gravel parking lot with all the imenities. Shops, restaurants, some groceries, and gas close at hand. Good location for going to the park and associated excursions of the area. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They printed our fishing licenses and check in was easy.

Best experiences among all national park stays! The room was clean and big enough. We stayed 3 nights with 3 people in one room. All of us can keep our luggage lying on the ground and still have enough space for hanging the wet jackets. Benefits from the RV service, the tap water is filtered and drinkable. The service is definitely the biggest boost to our experiences. Shout out to Kevin, who patiently and thoughtfully introduced every place around and in the park. The tips we learned from him helped us a lot on planning our activities. We felt very welcomed. If you traveled by train without a rental car like us, you would love the walkability and convenient buses here. There are various restaurants and stores right next to the rooms or across the street. Across the street there are also complimentary shuttle buses to the park every 30 minutes. I'd recommend this hotel to all my friends who are planning to visit Denali!

We stayed at this 3-star hotel but had an experience that felt like it deserved more than three stars. A big shout-out to Kevin, who is passionate about his work and provided more than enough support for us, maximizing our three-day experience in Denali. The hotel is conveniently located near the park, with a shuttle bus (across the street) running to the park every 30 minutes. It's also close to restaurants and stores, making it easy to grab a quick meal. While most people come here for the national park, I was also moved by seeing local people helping each other, adding a warm, human touch to this beautiful natural setting. If I come back, I will definitely stay here again.

We stayed in one of the motel rooms for 2 nights during our stay in Denali. The room was good, bigger than we expected and met all our needs. The location is definitely the best part, it is super walkable to everything on the boardwalk including our two favorite places to eat, Black Bear Coffee House and Prospector's Pizza. It’s also very easy to walk to the Denali bus stop across the street as well to access the park which we enjoyed since we utilized the train to get to Denali. We also requested a ride to/from the train station which was accommodated no problem and our shuttle driver both ways was awesome - even stopped at the national park sign to take a picture for us! Overall, was a great stay!

Honestly, the owners were great. The staff at the front desk were brusque and seemed annoyed even at this early start of the season - June. The cabin was pretty much thrown together and could use some updating. The floors were uneven and worst of all the window coverings were not black out. A serious problem seeing as Alaska summers do not get dark. Additionally the curtains kept breaking. Also the TV didn't work. That said, the location was fantastic. It was easy to get to the park and to do everything we wanted. The room was clean and having a full kitchen was helpful. We slept well as a fan was provided and we had a cool picnic table.

The front staffs were nice. The cleaning people were a little rushy when we were checking out and kind of rude to be honest because they were short staffed but they shouldn't take it out on the guest. Only place I have stayed without leaving a tip at the end for house cleaning. We got the ones with kitchen and everything and for the price really impressed. Clean everything. Wish there was a laundry in the building is all. It's a little out of way. Close to Denali and literally food and shopping is walkable which was great.
