Denton Ferry RV Park & Cabin Rental

This RV park has always been a favorite of ours. Sites are large and level. The setting is peaceful  The views of the White River were even more spectacular than in the past due to a recent massive cleanup of undergrowth and removal of low tree branches. Thank you!  Keep up the good work.

We have been twice this year. This last trip we parked our rv here for a long weekend. If you can get a river view rv spot, do it! We spotted a bald eagle and a river otter the first day. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were even able to rent a small boat to go out on the river.

We stayed in Site 12. Great location right across from the office and laundry. Very clean facilities. The River front sites have beautiful views of the White River. We did not unhook our trailer the 2 days we were here but we definitely enjoyed our relaxing time spent here.

The Denton Ferry RV Park crew does a great job of maintaining the grounds. The restrooms/showers were always clean. They attract the best clientele, obvious by the clean individual sites and quiet evenings and nights. The location was perfect, near grocery shopping and very good local dining (not the boring chains). I'll eagerly stay there again, the next time I visit the area.

Beautiful spot along the river.  Nice clean park, gravel roads and spots. It was nice of them to call ahead and ask if we needed pads to put under our leveling jacks.  The spots are laid out for trailers so the sewer line is at the very back of the site.  In a class A towing a trailer it meant using 40 feet of sewer hose.  It was easy to get there and easy to find our spot. Short trip to Mountain Home. We were there on business and the staff allowed us a late check out when our meeting ran long. Thank you Denton Ferry Staff!

The RV park is clean and quiet.  Not much shade to keep u cool in the summer.  The reason for only 4 stars was that the weeds under the trees along the river need to be cleaned up so the river can be accessed and seen from the sites along the river.  There may be a reason why they haven't mowed them down, but it would be nice if the undergrowth was cleaned up.  That's the only complaint I have about the park.  Everything else was great!

Update:  most of the time, people camping like to sleep in past 7am.  At 7am this morning, we were woke up with the sound of chainsaws.  There was a crew cutting down a tree and then chipped it up in a grinder.

Beautiful campsites right on the White River. We loved the first two days there—was so sad that it rained for the next three days and there was jot an option for early departure to get a little money back.  But we did enjoy the small part of the trip with no rain—and they don’t control the weather! One cool thing ( that we missed) was that they were cooking ribs and we were going to bring a side dish—everyone at the camp was invited. But that was on Memorial Day Monday, and we just decided to leave because of too many kids in a small space with the rain and mud.  There is a rope swing into a VERY cold natural spring area just a few miles away. The kids loved it! Beautiful views and nice, friendly people. The showers were clean and tidy. Would definitely stay again if we could get a nicer weekend!

Nice spacious sites. Bathrooms and showers super clean!  A really nice trail to walk and everyone was super nice. We will definitely return.  FYI. Our site was really nice and riverfront; however, upon check in, we were advised it was not a premium site so we were charged $27 for a week to have a fire pit.  I would verify if extra charge for fire pit next time.

Very nice park right on the White River!!  We spent 3 nights in our 33 ft fifth wheel camper at Denton Ferry RV Park in April 2025 and were very happy with everything.  The gravel pads are pull through, level. and the full hookup utilities are in good shape.  In/out was easy peasy.  Highly recommended and we'll stay again if we're in the area.

Denton Ferry, in Cotter AR is in a great location, close to several fishing access points, and Mountain Home AR. The sites are clean, as are all the facilities. Everyone we have met there, for a least the last 9 or more years, has been very friendly, and helpful. So, if you need a place to stay from one day to a week or longer, I highly recommend Denton Ferry RV Park.

The grounds are very well kept. Space between sites are more than adequate and some spaces have fire pits. Trees line the park along the river, really pretty.
Laundry room is clean and convenient.
There is now a nice area by the office to watch TV, picnic tables and I believe they are building a outdoor kitchen by the office also. Plenty of outdoor patio heaters around the area to keep you warm.
Management is extremely organized and more than accommodating to guests. They sincerely care that your stay is pleasant.
If you stay there be sure a take a long drive down Denton Ferry Road, it’s a beautiful drive especially during the fall.
I would definitely recommend staying here. One of the better RV Parks we have ever stayed at.

This was my first stay at Denton Ferry RV and it won’t be my last.  If you don’t like this place you don’t like Christmas!  We stayed for 2 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our time at Denton Ferry. The overall park facilities are top-notch and the park grounds are immaculately manicured and maintained by the owner, Doug. The bathrooms were extremely nice and were cleaned regularly. All RV site connections were well located and functioned flawlessly. We had the good fortune to have and enjoy a stunningly gorgeous river-front site on the banks of the White River.  Waking up in the early morning and viewing the fog-laced White River through our rear bedroom window was nothing short of spectacular.  When water conditions cooperate you can wade fish for trout in the world class White River directly from the RV Park. The genuinely  personable customer service provided by Doug was outstanding and beyond anything I have experienced in all of my Airstream RV travels. He regularly and openly communicates any and all information you need before you arrive, while you’re there, and after you leave.  And, Doug is always doing his very best to work with you to accommodate your specific needs and ensure that your stay at Denton Ferry is most pleasurable. I looked at other private RV parks in and around the area and IMO nothing comes close to matching the accommodations and aesthetics provided by Denton Ferry.  In sum, I highly recommend this RV park if you’re looking for an RV site in or around Cotter, Arkansas. You will not be disappointed. Thanks so very much for everything, Doug! See you again soon.
