Just passing through and we were able to dump our tanks and fill the water tank. Very hospitable people and very cute area.

Quaint, perfect, relaxing. The town takes a lot of pride in their park. Beautiful grass with birds and trees. Walkable to the cute town with a nice small grocery store. Easy drive to hike at strawberry mountain. $40 for full hook up, well worth it! We will be back!

Perfect site for our 4-motorcycle group to tent camp overnight (June 2024) during a 5-day tour. Friendly host. Handy pavilion. Reasonable rate... except be sure you have 7 quarters for your shower. Yep, we'd stay there again.

Stayed here for work. Tried to make reservations got told to call a different number and he didn't think there was availability. Called the next number and was told they could accommodate us with no problem always have a few spots. Got here and the camp host told us we could not pay her and we would need to go to city hall. When we finally found city hall after driving around the little town they gave us a different amount and said to talk to the mayor. WOW that was a joke , most rudest professionals I have ever met.. He quoted yet a different price and then stated we would have to leave during there festival. WOW We come to help the community and was treated like dirt. We stayed for 3 weeks and not once did I see the dog doo doo bags trash emptied and were vary full. The camp host was very rude and only gave information if asked. If I could give it a 0 I would. Had to stay longer then I really wanted to for work.

Nice, clean and quiet RV park. Well maintained and payment is made through a drop box so checkin was super simple.

I enjoyed my stay very much! It's pretty and historical with all the amenities you need and a beautiful view of Strawberry Mountain. Kind, courteous and helpful staff at Prairie City, City Hall!

Stayed at this RV Site a 5 plus years ago. Back than it was very clean and quite and well taken care of. For us at one time this site was a premier spot. I once recommended this spot to my family at the top of my list. In my personal option, this site, or area could be one of the nicest areas for RVing and a family stops in Eastern Oregon. This area/ town has so much potential for being one of the best recreational areas within hundreds of miles or more. Sorry for carrying on. Once you fine something so special and then see it lost, it is hard to get over. Unfortunately in the pass years the City has let this once very nice spot go down hill. I would gladly pay an above average price to stay here if this site was restored to the once beautiful place it once was. or a additional RV site was build to see the Strawberry Mountains and a nice quite town.

A quirky little campground. Onsite museum, which unfortunately we didn't get to see. Sites 1-9 are the easiest to access. 16-20 seem to be full timers squeezed into the corner behind the museum. We had to reverse into site 15 - the only site available big enough for us. Nice grassy areas to wonder with dogs, poop bags supplied and across a little bridge is a children's play area. Didn't go inside the bathhouse as it was keypad access and we didn't see the camp hosts to get the code. Suited us for $22 a night as we were in a jam but wouldn't go out of our way to return.

Okay place to stay, camp host were nice. Not much shade, bathrooms and showers are older. Would stay there again if we were just passing through. WiFi was great!!! Not slow or choppy, helped when we had a kiddo down sick for them to watch a Netflix movie.
