Wonderful hospitality, Nice and clean bathrooms. Salina was just super friendly and helpful, always with a smile. A very nice family place. Lots of hiking trails and great mexican restaurant within walking distance. Highly recommend!

First time camping so late in the year, and aside from being cold it was great. Very few other campers. A little concerned letting the dog in the water because of decomposing fish, again just late in the year and after spawning.

Like stepping into a church, most peaceful place I've ever been:)

It is walk in tent only site. It only needs to walk 2 minutes so you don't need to worry too much. Site is quiet and woods , river around. It is closer to black Butte trail and other mountains or trails. It is a great place.

Two vault toilets, very calm and quiet place to camp. Fly fishing only on the river. Try to get there early- this place fills up fast! And the other two camp grounds ahead are closed for the season! Also the water is shut off for the season already too.

Stayed in Site #8, July 9-11. 2020. Great campsite! It was very dusty, but great fire grate, cooked dinner on cast iron griddle. Could easily get 4-5 tents up. Picnic table, close to pit bathroom, cleaned every morning by 9:00. River access is shallow in this area, so great for kids and dogs. Path along river to Camp Sherman general store a little over an easy mile walk. Sites are very spread out, walk in only from parking area. Great during Covid-19 pandemic!

Nice, quiet campground. Toilets were kinda gross and you have to hand pump the water. Probably not suitable for California glampers 🙄
