This is an older RV park with the necessities, not a lot of amenities. That said, we have a stayed there and found it friendly and safe.

The amenities were what I expected for an RV park in Quartzite. The political flags flying on some of the campsites were unwelcoming and off-putting. Do better. Why alienate potential campers?

You only get what you pay for. Positive: Clean park Office folks are nice Easy to get into & out of Wide spaces Mixed: Location-near Love’s Truck Stop where you can fuel up or get basic supplies, food, etc. But there is definitely noise 24/7 so if you’re a light sleeper you may notice that, we did. If you’re into off Roading, you can leave right from camp and head south where there are many miles of trails. However, that is something you can do from pretty much any RV park in Quartzsite. Negative: The sites have no patios. Sites while level are really nothing more than utilities in a field, and loose rocks are everywhere. The Hi Jolly and La Posa short term camping areas have better terrain. Also the closest park to the westernmost mountain so if it’s windy you’ll feel more of that here as nothing blocks the breeze. In short, if we didn’t want the hookups this time we would have had a better & quieter stay boon docking. There’s nothing wrong with the place, it’s just very minimalist & not for us. If we’re going to pay to camp, we want more even if it costs more per nite. We would not stay here again-just our preference.

We have been here for 2 weeks and will be here 2 1/2 months. Staff in the office are very friendly and helpful! They have laundry on site and the facility is very clean. Very cozy and quiet. Highly recommend!!

While searching for a RV spot for myself and 4 friends I stopped into Desert Gardens RV Park. I met with Danny who offered exceptional customer service. When I explained I needed several spots during the busiest time of the year Danny said no problem. Give me a day to work it out and I will see what I can do. Thinking when I left I would never hear back from him I was blown away when he called me a few hours later and said I got you handled. I so sincerely appreciate the time and consideration Danny gave me. Absolutely wonderful customer service and a very fare price for full hookups. After checking in the next day another friend called and needed a spot. I immediately called Danny and he was able to even accommodate another friend of mine. A sincere thank you to Danny.

We go to Quartzsite most years for the rock shows. I’ve stayed at this RV Park, once dry camping and twice with hookups. Each time was a great experience. The park occupants were friendly, the cost was very affordable. Plus, would can walk to the Desert Garden rock shows. We will definitely stay there next time.

It is just desert, no gardens. Not well maintained. There are no site borders, just power poles in the ground. Each pole accommodates 2 sites. So, the distance from on RV to the neighbors is as far as the power cords are long. An old shed, with doors of the hinges and old mattresses in plain sight. The bath house is older, but clean. It is also (good or bad) close to I10 and 3 truck stops. The noise is rather intense. Ear plugs are a must!

We enjoyed our short, three day stay at Desert Gardens. It was fairly quiet, the neighbors were friendly and many improvements have been made at the RV park.

A desert outpost, make your own fun kind of a place. Nothing to complain about.

Great place to camp for the Big Tent and RV event in Quartzsite. Power hook ups and dry camp available.

At least 1 person in your group must be 55 years old or more.!!! I finally stopped in to get information on rates, rules, etc. I Never did find a manager the office said open but no one there, no lights on. There was a rate sheet laying out that indicated 2018 rates were $2005 for the year for a full hook up RV lot. Some of the many transient RV spaces were fully fenced with the RV a permanent fixture of thier private space that included sheds, outside living spaces and some custom outdoor kitchens. It appears some people here enjoy outdoor living year round. Most of the RV spots were empty as winter was done summer temps on their way. There is also many mobile homes/trailers in a different section that are year round residents. Some homes are permanent and some empty spaces. There is also a section of bigger lots with manufactured homes, double and triple wide that are very nice year round full time homes or permanent seasonal homes. The people (residents) I talked to were very nice, they said that you could bring a bus or other unconventional home on wheels, thier requirements were lax on the vehicle/model year as long as it was movable and functional, no towing broken down RVs to live in. One man said you could even tent camp in your space without an RV, just build something if you want. I'm not sure though, I'd double check! It is very conveniently located to town, the freeway, the Colorado River, casinis, gold prospecting and more. It is aclean park with nice amenities, pool, clubhouse, some activities in the winter. I am definitely considering this as a permanent home for my 55+ years
