Jun 2024, Place is officially closed, up for sale. Sign in window says, leave $40 in mailbox, you can park and use 30a hookup, no dump or water. After overly long day from Tok, heavy rains, customs and construction delays, killing hours, this is perfect rest, pic is 11pm, one of the most stunning places you can camp.

Very basic. It has 30 amp electric, no water, sewer, or trash. It is quiet and you can see the lake in the distance. The office doesn't seem to be manned. It looks like the property is for sale.

Stopped here for lunch and the staff were super helpful, yummy fries. Great shop attached to the restaurant with souvenirs, clothing, books, postcards, foodstuff, groceries, and all sorts!! We’ll worth a stop.

We had a nice breakfast on our way through. Great waitress. So helpful and attentive. Food was good. The place was very clean. Prices fair, considering inflation and remote location. Spent time in the gift store. Interesting items, hubby bought a jacket and other items for a reminder of our trip.

Destruction Bay Lodge and RV camp is a must-see stop on the Alcan Highway. I have stayed there several times and always been highly impressed with the owner operator. Business is slow because of the restrictions on Canadian travel. The RV camp is shut down right now because of seasonal weather, but the owner is eager and hoping for a good spring season this year. I cannot stress enough you must visit this location, keep the local business alive in a location that is purely heaven.

7:30 AM mid-February, deep into the off-season and they have sun-dried tomato, spinach, and feta omelettes and fresh fruit and the service and the view is top-notch.

Wouldn't Ever go again. This place was awful, we had electric our site was unable to find leveling helpful, Nothing to do here at All, the so called store was stocked with faded weathered post cards and Burl wood creations, though beautiful wouldn't pay what was asking, has a Bar and music, the music was led by a friend of the owner , he was okay. The owner seems to have run his course here, his local little shops are dilapidated, we were suppose to have a woman come and teach beading she never showed up. If it wasnt for our RV tour group having this as a stop, I would NEVER GO HERE

Level gravel lot, full hookups. Owner was hosting a private dinner with band for 40 miners. We never heard a thing.

Great stop. Buy a table and art baskets, best prices on the Alaska highway
