It’s best yurt view on the lake in Manitoba

A wonderful experience. We were there for 3 nights in the first week of July 2025. We had absolutely no service on our phones about 15 outside of the park, which we were kind of excited about to be totally honest. We were surprised that we had to pay for showers, I think it was $1 for 3 minutes, which feels a bit steep to me. Firewood was also only for purchase, which if you show up after the lodge closes like we did, you’re kind of screwed to make food or heat up anything that night. That was also a bit surprising and a tad frustrating, but perhaps we didn’t do our proper research before we went. Other than those two “surprises”, we truly had a great time! The park is beautiful, the water so clear near the shore, and lots of paths to walk around our campsite. Plenty of wildlife to watch, and the campsites feel separated enough, depends on the site you got of course. The lodge has lots of extras that you may have forgotten for sale, lots of food items that are just camping classics. Although, be warned those items are quite pricy so just don’t forget anything. 😂 For the time of year we went, the horse flies were HORRIBLE. But they took shifts with the mosquitoes, so we could get a break from them for a bit in the afternoon. 😂 but what do you except in “northern” MB in the marshy area?? Definitely bring a fly swatter. Lots of camping sights, but they go fast! It’s worth it if you don’t mind really living off the grid.

Beautiful secluded campground with little to no cell phone reception, lots of gorgeous lakes, trails and wildlife nearby. Our spot had a small trail leading straight to the lake through the trees. A gorgeous place to spend a few days!

Love it here! There is almost always deer in and around camping area calmy walking around. Lots of hiking and trails to adventure on and soo many lakes nearby to visit. About the only concern is the bugs.. you are in the north and trees, they are plenty and big. Be prepared with repellant and such.

The park and yurts are perfect and I highly recommend the campground. I also like how clear was the water. The only downside was the internet or even mobile access that is not available except for close to handsoap in men washroom.

The grounds are massive and well spaced out, most sites have a good amount of underbrush for privacy. They have a great hiking trail connected to the campground that is over 5km long with rest areas and look outs that are very nice. This is one of my favorite camping locations. The roads are all gravel in the park, be ready for about 30+ min of gravel to reach the campground.

very beautiful place and clean. Unfortunately the place is noisy at night and there is nobody to enforce park's rules. Most likely I'll never go back again
