Overall, it was a beautiful conservation. If the main showers were updated, I would have given it a 5 star. The river is perfect for young kids. The speed of a lazy river. You can stand up in it. Perfect for a tube just to float down. The 1 st beach is very nice, but if you walk/drive down 1km further, the next beach is even better for young kids. We had a family reunion in the group camping area. The staff were great to us. Would definitely recommend it.

This campground is poorly maintained. The roads are narrow and sites are difficult to get into without encroaching on someone else's site. The water and electric connections are hidden in the overgrown bushes and trees. Grass has not been cut for some time. We camped here in a 24 ft class C. Definitely will not return to this location.

Campsites are either tree enclosed or no trees anywhere. Sites with power and water are nice. You have to buy their wood for $10.00/bag only lasted one night! Staff are friendly, lots for teens and young ones to do, ie. Basketball, volleyball, horseshoes, swimming but beach is a car drive away.

Includes McGowan falls. I dunno if I got confused or whatever; it seemed like it was just dam that was a few metres tall. Has a few picnic tables, a river with rocks that you can throw into, a washroom with soap and paper, swings, a slide, and inoffensive scenery. If you add a few filters and the right time of day, I’m sure you could scrounge up something Instagram worthy. Well, it’s nice, too, to have a place that isn’t too popular. Good enough for a few minutes’ stroll, or a casual afternoon lunch.

It seems like a great park to place a trailer in. People all seem nice and respectful. I enjoy the peace that I feel when I'm there visiting.

Absolutely beautiful and clean campground. Very reasonably priced. The staff are incredibly accommodating. We had an issue with our trailer & both times we made a call to the office, within minutes a staff member from maintenance was @ our site with a smile, great attitude😊 & willing to do whatever they could to help & they succeeded & we were able to go on our way. Thank you so much to the staff well done fabulous customer service.👏👍😊

Does not have a nice beach, very little amount of sand. Play area for kids was adequate. Fishing area was way too shallow at campground. Nice trail through the woods from falls to boat launch. Firewood was small bag for 9$ Dumping station was fine. Sites are narrow for transients, big for seasonal. The site we had , had a tree and post very close to road which made backing in from the left off the one way road near impossible. Had to turn around to back in. Same with the transient next to us. Very tight corners. Had to leave going the wrong way to get out. Very quiet campground. Don't try to get more than 2 cars on the sites, not big enough as we had three and barely had room around a firepit that had been moved at least 5 times before with bare black sooty spots and coals still left in spots. Overall we made the best of it but won't be going back.

Was our first time camping here and we had a decent time. Campsite was a bit small and deceiving when we arrived versus the description and location that was on the map when we booked. The trails in the park are pretty nice and family friendly as they are not very difficult. The McGowan falls where the dam is located is a must see.
