We were warmly welcomed and wanted to do anything to make our stay pleasant. We were on a tour with a caravan and they were able to handle all of us with with speed and even escorted us to our site. We travel 9 months of the year and this campground was top notch for our needs. Would highly recommend this campground.

Great place to RV. Bathrooms are clean, laundry and hot showers available, clean, near to everything. There is some road noise, and if you are in a tent, watch where you set up. Despite no dog walk signs, the tent site area is covered with dog poop near the bathrooms and out a bit. You can set up safely, but walking back and forth to the dish sinks and laundry/bathroom can be an exercise in poop pile avoidance. We still loved the campground and will be back!

Spotless bathroom's, clean laundry area, newer machines and everything was newer not ancient. A great place to stay. Quiet. Beautiful flowers. Nice to walk to everywhere you need to go. Highly recommended!

They would NOT give a credit/gift card (for the whole amount) to come a different time. If you are booking in advance - BOOK SOMEWHERE else. Leave this one to last minute when you are sure you are there.

We stay here every year for Labor Day weekend. The location is excellent. The staff is so accommodating the bathrooms are super clean.

Easy to park. Staff is helpful. Grey and Black water dumping are included in your stay. Potable water flows freely. The cable hookup doesn't exist. They have free WiFi for their guests

We tent camping. It rained most of our stay and we did have to move our tent to a different part of the empty yard because of the pool of rain left in front of our tent. Just be mindful where you set your tent up. Bathroom and showers are nice and near by. For it being labor day weekend it was a great stay.

We spent 2 nights here and from the minute we arrived we felt welcomed and valued as a customer/fellow traveler. I found the laundry facilities the cleanest I have used so far on our 8,000 mile journey, trust me I’ve used some questionable laundry facilities. The showers are really clean and the water is nice and hot! As most RV parks it’s a little tight but that’s to be expected but all and all I give this park a 5 star rating! If you’re in Valdez Alaska and need a great place to stay Eagles Rest RV Park is a great place to stay!

We extended a day to our 3 nite visit. Walked into office and requested, also paid. After we left we received a charge on card for reservation fee..? Even if you go online and do all the registration these companies charge this fee. Unacceptable. Other parks near there are cheaper and have great views. This park is fine and have no complaints except they overcharge for their sites and charge these stupid fees. $70-80 tops is what it is valued at and don’t play games with foolish add on charges. M

We came and tent camped for the 4th of July. Such a great location, everything is in walking distance. Great 360 views. The camp sight offers a fish fry on the 4th it was super yummy. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The tent section is nice because it’s all on grass. **My only suggestion would be to have more camp fire pits.** There were about 5 camp fire pits in the tent section so it was kind first come first serve. We were fine because we got like the best fire pit for our cooking needs. But I would have been really disappointed if we didn’t have a fire pit for ourselves (since we use it to cook on). The showers are nice and have great water pressure. Overall, a great campground and will definitely be coming back.

My wife and I recently spent three nights tent camping at Eagles Rest RV Park, and unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant. From the moment we drove in, we felt discriminated against by the park employees who patrolled the grounds on golf carts. Despite adhering to all park policies, we were constantly interrupted by staff every couple of hours, who felt the need to remind us of the rules—rules we were not breaking. It's my belief that we were singled out because we were younger than most of the other guests, who were predominantly retired RV owners. Additionally, being one of the few tent campers in a park primarily filled with over 100 mobile homes and expensive towable RVs, and having a small dog with us, seemed to draw undue attention. One employee named Rick was particularly intrusive, repeatedly interrupting our stay to inform us that our dog could not be on the grass. This happened multiple times, even though our dog was never once on the grass. His constant harassment made our stay extremely uncomfortable and disrupted our ability to relax and enjoy our camping experience. In conclusion, our experience at Eagles Rest RV Park was marred by what we perceived as discriminatory treatment. The repeated disturbances and unwarranted scrutiny of our small dog left us feeling unwelcome and regretting our decision to camp there. We cannot recommend this park to fellow tent campers, especially those traveling with pets.

Everything about this park was perfect. The staff was friendly and proactive about my stay. The best park that I have stayed in during my time in Alaska. 10/10 would love to stay again. Thanks again for everything!

The owners and staff go out of their way to help their guests have the very best experience. Quality is key to everything done. The park is super clean, updated every year and safe. One of the best we have stayed at for sure. The rates are more than fair for the value received.
