Favourite place to stay in Kananaskis. Lots of sites to fit our 5th wheel. No sani dump but it had a manual Well Pump for potable water. Quiet, clean, private sites. Little bit of cell service. Hiking trails and the cost was $31 a night.

Our stay at Eau Claire campground, was simply amazing!!! We spent 4 nights there and we tried getting a spot at Kidd mtn, campground, but Thank God that didn't happen.Eau Claire campground, is one of those hidden little gems that are hidden in kananaskis country, that we think gets over looked. The managers Ken and Marilyn are simply amazing people and wonderful host and hostesses, very kind and they take pride in keeping a clean and Quiet campground. I don't want too give too many secrets about my new favorite place too camp in kananaskis country, but we definitely will be back!!!! Ken and Marilyn ,I hope you read this because you do an amazing job! And your proud Albertan's whom we can all be proud of!!! Nice Job!!!

This year, they have new camp ground managers. The couple, Rhonda and Steven, and their daughters are awesome and sweet. Very kind people. Love the location. Definitely recommend camping here. There is a small playground for kids by the managers' RV near the entrance. The outhouse is easy access and there's a picnic table at the camp site. First come first serve. We brought our puppy camping for the first time (and for me as well). We had a great time.

I have been camping with my family at Eau Claire for a number of years, it is our favourite place to camp. Eau Claire is a great place to camp, well treed sites for the most part provide a feeling of seclusion even when the campground is full. The hosts are exceptional people they are friendly, approachable and knowledgeable about the area, and any safety and campground information that campers in bear country need to know.

Great campground. Well run, clean sites that are spaced out so it feels like you’re very secluded. Newer outhouses are clean and clearly well maintained. Cute trail head from the campsite is a good interpretive trail. Also very close to the river too which makes for a nice afternoon activity.

Such a beautiful campsite, I’ve camped here lots and the couple who are running the campground are so pleasant! They always have big smiles and go above and beyond for the kids. They definitely make the whole experience out there that much better! It’s the best part of my summer!

We absolutely love this campground and location. The beauty and serenity is beyond compare. The sites are large, private and well treed. The couple that manage the campground are exceptionally hard working and friendly and always ready with a welcoming wave. The grounds are clean and well maintained. They are also informative and helpful, sharing information as to things to do in the area, general bear safety, and wildlife updates. Wonderful experience!

Most amazing campground in K-Country. Situated at the base of a mountain and along a river. Perfect paradise for quiet camping. Super clean facility and well taken care of. They accept credit cards as well as cash. Wood is also available for purchase that is even delivered to your site. Campground hosts are friendly, approachable and available all the time. They take pride in caring for this great little gem.
