HTR is a nice campground, this was a first time to door county. Sites are wooded towards the back where the fire rings are which is nice. We didn’t spend much time there. We stayed at site 31, it’s pretty close to level there is a stump on that site that is in the way of backing up the camper. Next time we will plan on sites 27-30

We own a travel trailer, but didn't want to drive 5 hours with it, so we booked the "glamping" unit - it worked out great. Perfect location for a great Door County visit! It was nice to have a quiet campfire at the end of the busy days, something you can't get by staying in a hotel.

We camped here in early October. The staff is exceptional. The facility is clean and grounds well kept. A special thanks to Jojo and Dee who were very helpful when the well pump went out! We will definitely return on our next trip to Door County!

We had a great time at this campsite. Our campsite was huge and surrounded by trees offering privacy from the neighbors. Ammenities were great and the location was close to everything. Our site was right next to HWY 42 so it was a little noisy with traffic at times but thats the price you pay for being near everything.

Juanita’s receptionist was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The campground is charming, wooded, and clean. We will definitely return. Within a five-minute drive, you can find Egg Harbor, and Fish Creek is six minutes away. Sister Bay is 27 minutes away, offering a picturesque town with scenic roads, lake views, beaches, parks, and charming shops. Additionally, you are four minutes from Peninsula State Park, a great scenic park that provides biking, canoeing, hiking, beach access, and more. This campground is full hook ups, they also offer cabins, and glamping sites check out their website for pictures.

I booked this campground back in January 2022 for 2 weeks in the July timeframe summer 2022. I was told someone would get back to me to collect the deposit. When I didn’t hear back, I started calling at the end of February 2022. Each time I called I got an answering service that told me someone would call me back, but no one ever did. The 4th time I called in March, the answering service said that park had been bought and the new owners were probably not going to honor my reservation. No one ever called me back and to top it off Advanced Outdoor Solutions, the new owners, keep sending me emails about seasonal sites. This is no way to run a business. I’d steer clear of this poorly run establishment.

Finally get a response back from the new owners and it is the same excuses. "We are working to keep it the same, and if you need to reach us please contact us at our email". What a bunch of lies. I have been emailing and calling every day and they still can't find my site that I booked last year with the previous owners. And then I get the response of "You probably don't have a site with us anymore and because of that we can't refund what you have already paid." This new ownership is running a beautiful campground under. This is not how Wisconsin operates. We are not on the coasts where you can just charge whatever you want. You will lose business in this market. Wisconsinites are stubborn and will refuse to visit your establishment based solely on being wronged. You won't be able to earn our business back.

Very disappointed in how this "transition" is being handled. They took all the prices off the website, which tells me they are jacking prices up to a level not consistent with the area. The letter to the seasonal site holders was sent to everyone they had an email for. We got one and we only go there 3 times a season. VERY unprofessional to say the least. Poorly written and missing the referenced application. They could have simply told everyone of the transition and left it alone for a year with information about what is going to happen in 2023, which would have been more respectable, but nope, these people want a quick buck. We'll be cancelling our reservations for 2022 as soon as we get hold of someone. This place will never be the same.

New owners apparently - investment firm out of Boston Massachusetts, doubled the rates to seasonal guests. The very life blood that keeps Egg Harbor afloat is now dead. These leech investment firms want to make a quick buck off the fact that camping has picked up again because of COVID. Disgusting. I urge anyone thinking of going there, think about that.

Happy for Mike and Debbie for selling the campground. They both put the time and effort in to making it a better place. I respected both Mike and Deb but really disappointed how they handled leaving. I know they owe no one anything. But they could've of sent a letter out. There are a lot of hard feelings from the campers towards Mike and Deb. Remember if you ever run into them be nice. They're only doing what any one of us would've done if given the opportunity. I know I would've.
