The campground is wonderful. Quiet and well spaced campsites are enjoyable. Primitive camping, no electric, or water. There is a dump station for rvs at the exit to the park. There are plenty of hiking trails, a boat ramp, Everglades boat tours for both the bay side and inland side. Well worth the time and money.

I have stayed at both campgrounds in the Everglades and this was by far the best. The sites are not big but they seem very private because of all the natural barriers. The staff was very friendly and helpful. In my opinion, this campground is closer to some of the best hikes. While the mosquitoes are still present they are not as bad as they are in the other campground. Would stay here again.

Very nice campground. Each site seems separated well. I was in the tent area so real quiet. The toilets weren't working in the tent area si that was a bummer. Nice showers.

It's our 2nd stay here but won't be our last. Love having hot showers and the stillness of no generators after 8pm. The stars put on a great show. One of our favorite stops each time. Staff is always kind and helpful.

Stayed two nights in out travel trailer. Everyone respected the quiet hours for the most part. Bugs were manageable in Feb. staff was great and very helpful. Highly recommend the Everglades water walk. You will see things you just don’t see on dry lands. Verizon cell service was good.

This park has been very peaceful. There is enough space for about 3 tents. There is a fire pit. There is no electricity so you will be roughing it. It's not too far from town if you need anything. Definitely recommend it for anyone looking to escape. Bring big spray!!!! Mosquitos thrive in swamps!

Great Campground and awesome hosts!! We have been coming her for a few years and love it! Firewood and Ice are now available. Dogs are not allowed on the trails but we took great walks around the campground :)

Well maintained campground. Each site has a fire pit. Tent sites have no water or electricity, and washing dishes must be done in the designated sink. We loved our stay there. It's on higher ground with more vegetation than Flamingo making the sites more private. There was no choice of site - all assigned electronically. There's plenty of biking and walking and ranger activities. The Nike Missile site tour was a walk back into history.

Mostly large sites, well spaced though you may have a neighbor across the road. RV campers are separated from the tenters. This campground is quiet and more woodsy than Flamingo. There is lots to see up here, but if you want to explore the many canoe trails Flamingo might be a better choice.

Beautiful spot in Everglades National Park. Lots of wildlife and great kayak/canoe and hiking. Saw a pair of Great Horned Owls, absolutely amazing. The no see-ums are brutal, pack the OFF!
