Expo-Square RV Park

Overview

Expo-Square RV Park offers a unique urban camping experience situated on the grounds of the historic Tulsa State Fair. As a primarily event-focused destination, the park provides travelers with a clean and organized base of operations while attending shows at the SageNet Center or the Pavilion. Unlike rustic campgrounds, this park emphasizes convenience and accessibility for visitors who want to be in the heart of the action without sacrificing the comforts of their own rig during major city events.

Location & Surroundings

Located in the midtown area of Tulsa, Oklahoma, the park is surrounded by the vibrant energy of the Expo Square complex. It sits just off major thoroughfares like Interstate 44 and Highway 51, making it incredibly easy to navigate even for those driving large motorhomes. The surrounding neighborhood is a mix of residential streets and commercial hubs, providing a sense of security and easy access to local grocery stores and diverse dining options along the historic 11th Street corridor, which remains a focal point of the city.

Amenities & Park Features

The facility is designed for modern convenience, featuring paved asphalt pads that ensure a level setup regardless of the weather. Each site is equipped with full hookups including 30 and 50-amp electrical service, water, and sewer connections. To make long-term event stays more comfortable, the park provides access to well-maintained restroom and shower facilities, along with on-site laundry services. The entire area is monitored by 24-hour security, offering peace of mind for guests during their stay in this metropolitan environment.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

Staying at this park puts you minutes away from Tulsa’s most iconic landmarks. You can explore the breathtaking gardens at the Philbrook Museum of Art or take a short drive to The Gathering Place, a world-class riverfront park that offers something for all ages. History buffs will appreciate the proximity to Route 66, where neon signs and vintage diners tell the story of the Mother Road. For foodies, the nearby Mother Road Market offers a curated selection of local eateries and unique shops within a communal dining space.

Who This Park Is Best For

This park is the ideal choice for equestrian competitors and trade show exhibitors who need to stay close to their venues. It also serves as an excellent stopover for Route 66 enthusiasts looking for a reliable, paved site within city limits. Travelers who prefer an urban environment over a secluded forest setting will appreciate the proximity to Tulsa’s cultural district. It is a functional, high-utility park perfect for those who prioritize location and ease of access over resort-style recreational activities.

Was here for the fair. Overnight guard was hot, and extremely helpful. I should have gotten her number

Very clean, the grounds-keeping guy, who rides on that Toro mower around the property does a GREAT JOB!!

Great location if visiting Tulsa. It is a huge parking lot, probably a total of 300 sites. FHUs. Secure. You should probably pay attention to their event calendar, I'm sure they do fill up, but only 2 of us are currently here. No shade. They have a shower and laundry facility.

Very expansive state fair grounds with a large indoor center which had a flea market in session the time I was there. I was in attendance for the national AKC agility competition there. The disappointing thing was the grounds keeping crew put signs out telling the dog owners to keep the dogs off the grass next to the road. 😕
