Great swimming, Small Boat Ramp Camping sites we’d recommend as campers who use tents, have a child, prefer distance to other campers, close to water. Site 70 & 71 are best sites, close to water/swimming ——— 90 92 103 113 116 119 122 129 153 35 41 55 59 64 65 66 70 *** 71***

We've been camping our way across the United States and stopped here for two nights. Great campground, with clean facilities. Got a four star because there was only one area for garbage collection, and that is quite a ways from the campsites. Seems like most campgrounds in the eastern United States are headed this way, whether private or public. Most campsites are relatively private and we paid the senior rate of $68 for two nights for a site with water and electric.

We stated in this beautiful campground for 9 days, fully enjoyed it, so peaceful and clean. We are in loop 2, most sites are leveled and big rig friendly, our 5th wheel is 40’ and is ok to settle on site #75, but won’t recommend if longer than that as it’s not quite leveled, took some efforts to hook up the truck when left. We also went to the Rolling Campground to browse around. It’s bigger and have more facilities, but to us it’s kind of too quiet.
