We've been camping our way across the United States and stopped here for two nights. Great campground, with clean facilities. Got a four star because there was only one area for garbage collection, and that is quite a ways from the campsites. Seems like most campgrounds in the eastern United States are headed this way, whether private or public. Most campsites are relatively private and we paid the senior rate of $68 for two nights for a site with water and electric.

We stated in this beautiful campground for 9 days, fully enjoyed it, so peaceful and clean. We are in loop 2, most sites are leveled and big rig friendly, our 5th wheel is 40’ and is ok to settle on site #75, but won’t recommend if longer than that as it’s not quite leveled, took some efforts to hook up the truck when left. We also went to the Rolling Campground to browse around. It’s bigger and have more facilities, but to us it’s kind of too quiet.

It was a beautiful Easter Sunday were the Avery Davis family camped. The campground is marvelous it is beautiful and are place was right on the water some of our more adventuresome family members took to kayaking including two dogs. It's a wonderful campground hidden away we have enjoyed it for many many years

Holly point was a beautiful campground. Well maintained and right on the lake. Picnic tables and firepits at the site. Bathhouse was close by, it was okay but could have used a little more attention for cleaning. The sites were nice sized but pretty close to other campers so not a ton of privacy but for 23$ a night, ya cant complain

Love camping here. The grounds are beautiful and the staff is very friendly. There are bathrooms and showers readily available. Both regular and electric campsites for tent and rv camping. Small beach area for swimming. Lots of sites to choose from. Picnic benches for each campsite and ones around the beach area too. Pet friendly as well.

I really enjoyed the place the atmosphere was more woods and less lake Aside from me catching a misdemeanor from my dog being a nuisance it was OKI would recommend it for the family probably in the Spring

Just one loop open. Great spots, well maintained and spaced far apart on this loop. This is our 2nd year at Hollypoint prior to Christmas. Site 103. Can see water. Be prepared for a bit of road noise and airport flyway. Also some sort of helicopter training treetop along lakeshore was interesting. Stayed 14 nights.

We had an amazing night at this campground! Brought our pups and slept next to the lake. Facilities are well kept and maintained, there was some vehicle noise from a nearby road but really not bad later at night going to bed. Plenty of room for more than one vehicle or if you want group camping. There was a park ranger that would patrol every once in a while which gave us some peace of mind there was someone keeping an eye out. The grounds were well kept and they have a boat ramp that we may bring our boat next time to spend some time on the lake. Their website also offered a map of the grounds just in case you want something to look at online before you go to help pick out a spot. Overall we will be back!

Nice campground if you get a good site. Definitely avoid 131 in Loop 4. There is a walking path, 25-30 feet, from the end of the gravel pad to site 117's parking space. Definitely an issue for privacy. Meanwhile the parking space for 131 is up a path, 100+ feet away

Our family went on our very first camping trip together abs we all absolutely loved it. The park grounds were very clean and had some beautiful views as well. Lots of fun things for the kids to do, including a small swimming beach. The campsite was pretty basic but still all you need, a fire pit, gravel for the tent and a picnic table, with lots of space. Bathrooms and showers were very clean too, although we wished there were showers in the restrooms near the swimming area. We will definitely be back next year and plan to camp every summer for years to come.
