Our group of five families stayed at Fiesta Key RV Resort, and we were all extremely disappointed with the entire experience. The staff was rude and unhelpful from the start. There was no WiFi, no restaurant or bar as advertised, and no housekeeping services. When we asked for clean towels, we were told we had to pay to wash the ones we already had. The cottages were run down and falling apart, and the AC unit was so loud it sounded like a train coming through the wall. There were no kitchen items to cook with, even though the cottages were supposed to be equipped. To make things worse, I was harassed about my service dog, which was completely inappropriate and against ADA guidelines. Then, after checkout, we were charged a $150 “damage fee” even though there was zero damage to the unit. The entire place is poorly maintained, misrepresented online, and not worth the money. Overall, this was a horrible stay, and we would never recommend Fiesta Key RV Resort to anyone.

When we booked the site the website falsely advertised the restaurant and bar when it was not open, in fact it wasn't open for some time and not going to be until late November. Based on the website and how they advertise it we left the absolutely beautiful Sugarloaf KOA paying the same price to work our way back up the keys to the mainland. When we pulled into the park immediately it felt like we went from a lush oasis into a barren desert. Hardly any trees and no shade. Our experience at the pool was pretty bad too. They have rules like no personal music, no food or beverages at the pool and other normal rules. Well the first day they enforced them when only a few people were there, but the next couple of days on the weekend it was chaos to the point that we could not stay there anymore. One last major concern is that this Park floods. At high tide twice daily the salt water from the Gulf raises so much that many campsites were completely underwater and several moved from the more expensive "elite" sites because closer to the water. So you pay more for the inconvenience. We've been RVing for almost 30 years and now been full-time for 7 years to this point and pretty much knew that Thousand Trails campgrounds were rarely very nice but with the location and the way they advertised it we thought we were going to be in good shape. I would not recommend paying such a high price for a sunset because that is the only thing this place has going for it.

Office staff were great! The sites can be tight if it is busy. There are a lot of families that it seems camp together. We were fine with the size of the site. If you need anything from the on-site store, good luck! It is hardly ever open. The pool was very crowded with large groups. Bathrooms and showers need work.

Two Fantastic weeks in heaven, the site we had was very close to the pool, restaurant boat docks and beach(not really a beach). Just a couple minor complaints, the WiFi they make you pay for wouldn’t be worth it if it was for free, the pool got a bit crowded in the afternoon. That being said the staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was better than we expected. Because we went in June there weren’t any activities but every morning in the pool and the afternoons were spend people watching, shopping, fishing and just relaxing. We did most of the tourist things in the area. Now we did join Thousand Trails so we saved a bunch of money on our stay, and when you save money, well I smile.😀 now I hope you enjoy your selves as much as we did.

There’s nothing like the feeling of being on a small little “island”. We stayed in a room on the property. Very beautiful place. Gorgeous sunsets! Great meal at restaurant. With a disabled husband, the room was perfect! Just the right size for both of us and easy for him to get around.
