Site 248 was nice. Close to bike trails and boat launch. Full hook ups and a perfectly level (new) concrete pad. Will go back and spend some more time for sure.

Favorite place around Medina to flat water kayak! Fishing is halfway decent, people are fabulous, and the atmosphere is incredible!

This is one of the smaller state parks, but it has much to offer. There is a small beach, mountain biking trails, hiking trails (The Buckeye Trail passes through the park),kayaking, boat ramps, disc golf, campground, picnic areas and shelter house. Also the lake and surrounding areas are very scenic.

Based on many of the Ohio State parks, I have visited thus far. This one is huge. There are many trailer hook up spots, an area for tent, camping, or non-electric, but my post usually are based on the trails.. there are several trails throughout the park, including a story book trail for children, which is a little under a mile loop. A couple of the trails coincide with the frisbee golf trail so if you’re not paying attention, you can go in the wrong direction. I was even monitoring through all trails app, and I still went the wrong direction. The trails are clear, at least two person wide with some elevation changes lots of wildlife and very scenic.

Great disc golf course. Recommend using UDisc to try different layouts and find the holes. Also recommend using the AM 21 layout. You get the best out of the course I feel.

Camping here for memorial day weekend. Rained buckets first few nights. Most sites do not have solid service for your camper, so it was a mess! Water stations are not close by either. You have to drive to middle of camp park. However, there are a few sites that have full hookups. Handicap sites have concrete pads. Park is beautiful! Small lake for canoes and kayaking. Beautiful disc golf course and hiking!

Love camping and fishing here. Especially great for the little kids since there is a play ground, a nature center, storybook trail, and free sports equipment and board/card games to borrow. This is our second time here and we will be back!

Our site was best described as "water front property" in Florida. Site had good 30 amp service but the 15 amp plug tripped the GFI circuit as soon as it was reset. Also, the site had a good gravel parking area but the mud was 6 inches deep going to the electrical service pole. Not sure about other sites but mine was a big disappointment. You had to call in for a site as no "walk-in" were allowed, they assigned your site when you called. I think I'll skip Ohio parks in the future since you have to have a reservation. I don't always know where I'm going..

Clean and well maintained campground. The sites are all rather close together, so hopefully you have good neighbors. There are a good amount of trails to explore and a frisbee golf course. Early march is definitely still off peak season, so the showers, flush toilets and water fountains were all still shut down. Despite all that, we still had a great time at Findley State Park.
