Large sites, clean facilities, and pottable water is accessible and close by most sites. Some sites have 0 privacy, and some are average.

We had a wonderful time at Fitzroy Provincial Park! The campground was peaceful and well-maintained, and we were pleasantly surprised to see deer roaming freely, it made the experience even more magical. The beach was clean, beautiful, and perfect for relaxing or letting the kids play. A great spot for nature lovers and families alike. We’ll definitely be coming back!

This is a nice campground to visit. The staff is friendly and the grounds are clean. However, the beach isn't that nice. I wish they would do a better job keeping guests at night quiet as people tend to raise their voices which can be heard from a distance. I'd also avoid buying firewood here as 10$ a bag is high and the bag of wood we got was wet when we tried to burn it. The campgrounds have spots for campers what need to plug in and regular spots. You have access to showers and washing and dryers.

Fitzroy is an amazing park with fantastic staff. The campsites were decent, we had one that backed on to carp creek. The facilities were Always clean and well marked out on the map. Like at every provincial park the staff were Always friendly and helpful. The park store had some food, fitzroy merchandise and ice cream. The beach was well maintained and the water was clean. Easy access to the ottawa river which was amazing. There is a huge waterfall just past the first island that's a must see and a short Paddle to Alexandria made for an interesting adventure and a great fishing story. Thank you park staff for an amazing weekend.

Clean and relatively quiet, however the section we were in offered very limited privacy and was not close to the swim area. Walking or biking to the beach or store was challenging (dangerous at spots) since there were no trails or shortcuts which forced us to walk on the park roads with quite a bit of traffic. Both beaches were clean and the water was great for swimming but the smaller beach had an unexpected "industrial view" of the huge hydroelectric dam. The larger beach was very nice, and my husband thoroughly enjoyed kayaking from there. He fished while taking in the beauty of the Ottawa River. Park staff were very friendly and clearly took pride in their work. The Park Store was very well stocked too.
