This campground is absolutely fabulous. I have dealt with Karla many of times and she has been so pleasant. No attitude just always helpful. The campground has a wonderful lake for the summertime to swim in. They also have events that go on that are fun. The campsites all have water and electric hookup. No tent camping. During major holidays they get really busy and sold out. So book ahead of time and don’t wait till the last minute. Trust me. We have been there and now make sure we do it in advance. The major holidays are so fun because everyone has their golf carts and drive around and play music and everyone is so outgoing and kind. They do have a pool and a cafe as well with a playground. They do have overflow parking for extra vehicles. They have bands and karaoke nights. They also have ice cream truck and let me tell you that ice cream is so good the line is backed up for a mile. So delicious. Thanks Flamingo Lake for making this a great experience for all families. Thanks for your great staff as well for doing their part. CHEERS.

Lots in the same category are not all the same. We had premium lakefront lot. Out lot shared a wall with neighbors on both sides (some have grass in between). The power and water pole took up space - reducing the size of the lot. We couldn't extend our awnings as they went over the wall into our neighbors lot. Had to drag picnic table into a corner. The view of the lake was nice but the RV next to us was part of the view. Friendly staff. Quiet at night. Anyone can buy a day pass to come to the lake. DIdn't feel like it was worth the price.

We ended up in cabin 39, it was a cabin on the lake. at first glance the house seemed nice and don’t get me wrong If you are used to tiny homes this is the place for you. The shower was super small. the bed was only a full and my wife and I could barely sleep comfortably on it. the front office was very nice and kind. The security guard,Joe helped out a ton when we first got there. we arrived after hours and he set us up with our key to get in the place. My wife’s sister got a cabin near the highway which was more updated than ours. Highly recommend getting the cabins that aren’t on the lake if you want the better experience. When it rained the bottom of the steps had a puddle you could hardly avoid getting your shoes soaked. Overall, it was better than paying for a hotel stay and next time we’re back in the area I’ll make sure to rent a different cabin.

We came to this beautiful RV Resort in September of 2025 for two weeks and had the best time. Every time we come the staff is so helpful and friendly. The campground is always clean and this year they have a beautiful new pool that was amazing. There are so many good restaurants close by to eat at also. We enjoyed it so much we are coming back in November of 2025 for three weeks. See you then.

This RV park is a fantastic spot whether you’re staying for a quick trip or settling in for a longer visit. The staff is attentive, polite, and always ready to help. The grounds are clean, quiet, and enjoyable, making it easy to relax and feel at home. On top of that, the on-site restaurant and bar are excellent—definitely worth a visit. I’d absolutely recommend this place and look forward to coming back.

Update to review after this companies response: first of all it took over 2 weeks and 4 phone calls to get the water leak fixed, the salt pellets ARE dangerous to dogs and were NEVER raked away and what do you mean “ When you called to book your site, our team explained that your selected site was not available for those 4 days, but we could provide an alternate site at no extra charge???” That makes NO SENSE. I called to leave 4 days EARLY and asked for a credit and was RUDELY dismissed & I’ll NEVER be back mostly based in the rudeness of office staff. I paid for a month here because I was down in Jacksonville opening another location of my business. The good: The resort is nice enough but definitely not worth how much much more expensive it is than other places in better locations or with more ammenities. It’s nice they have a lake and 2 beaches and a cafe (yet it had weird hours and you never knew if it was open or not). The bad: the campsites were not well maintained and we had to call multiple times to get leaking water repaired, chunks of weed killer on the ground n our space that is poisonous to our dogs removed (that they NEVER took care of), etc. the hookups are at the very end of the spot so it’s hard to reach. Most are in the middle. And, the pool was under repairs but no concessions were given for that. The ugly: every encounter I had with anyone in the office was incredibly rude. We had to leave 4 days early due to a death in the family and I asked if we could get a credit for those 4 days because we had to come back for at least another week to a month or more to finish our opening and Lori said “no mam, everyone has problems in their life and you’ll be responsible for paying for the whole amount”. So uncaring! We were up til 3am scrambling to leave through a devastating emergency and that’s how she acts? No wonder the place is always half empty other than overgrown dilapidated permanent residents. I am going to be spending a lot of time in Jax and would’ve come back just for the lake but they lost a customer who would’ve spent thousand more over Lori’s bad attitude and a measly 4 day credit. Save yourself the rudeness and poisonous danger to your dogs and go elsewhere!

We stay here often and love it. Would love to stay one time at the site by the lake and Cafe but a bit pricey :-( Great staff, clean campground, fantastic Cafe, lake swimming is great. Cannot wait for the new pool. Hoping it is open before our week stay 7/1. Excellent place to stay.

We have stayed at Flamingo many times over the years, we are Jacksonville locals. Think only once or twice since SUN bought them. I just checked dates, I see where there is a 3 night minimum at least during the summer on weekends. Guess I will no longer be staying there at all.

Great RV camping for a sort stay or longer. The Staff was very friendly and helpful, sites well maintained and bathrooms clean. There is a nice cafe on premises to provide meals and beverages. The lake is beautiful with two beach areas to provide swimming. The pool was under construction and when completed should be a great addition. Price was reasonable for all the amenities at this park. This is a solid 5 star and I highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area or traveling and want a nice overnight rest stop.

I have been visiting or staying at flamingo lakes for many years now. I can honestly say the management company that is operating the day-to-day activities have got it right. Clean, structured, organized safe. Flamingo lakes is a Jacksonville Jewel. The lake in the middle is Spring fed and maintained for a safe day in the water. We rent the clubhouse once a year and get to enjoy the covered stage and seating area for live music. Flamingo lakes never lets us down

My wife and I love Flamingo Lake resort! What’s not to love!? The management, the staff, the location, the spring fed 17 acre lake, the on site cafe, karaoke, bingo, water bikes, the sense of community, etc.. This place is special, and literally has it all. Have you ever seen or heard of an RV Resort manager actively seeking to ensure the guests/residents are enjoying themselves? The manager, Danny, literally drives through the community periodically to see if he can improve his guests experience! Wait, what? Someone actually cares!!! Who knew or would have thought that was still possible!?!? The staff are all professional, friendly and eager to help in any way possible. The amenities, site lines and location are amazing, beautiful & convenient! We have visited twice and will definitely stay here again anytime we are anywhere in the vicinity. Thank you Flamingo Lake!

Our experience at Flamingo has been nothing but top notch each time we have been there. The grounds are clean, the hospitality is wonderful, the activities are plentiful: golf carts, water bikes, a cafe, Bingo, karaoke, a beautiful spring fed lake, a great beach, cabanas and more. Danny is a wonderful manager and takes very good care of those who visit with his kindness and hospitality. This by far is our favorite campground to visit.

My family loved the yurt! It's GLAMPING at it's finest. We will come back to the yurt it was clean way better then I thought it would be. They have air conditioner, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, dresser for your clothes, wood floors, tv, electricity, real toilet that flushes, sink and mirror in your private bathroom. It's bigger then a hotel room.i highly recommended!

The campground was nice and clean. The grill was an awesome attribute. The food was tasty and the prices were right. The main campground bathhouse was clean and recently refurbished. The downside was that there was no functional bathhouse in the campground across the street. For over $100 per night I would expect a more convenient bathhouse experience.

Up until recently, I have been a very happy resident of Flamingo RV Park and Resort. This was even after years of broken promises of upgrades to the park that never happened. MOST of the staff, especially security, house keeping, maintenance, and one or two of the front desk attendees are welcoming and friendly. However, what is now dished out to the residents or "select" residents is definitely not "Hospitality at its Best." I understand that this is a business, however when you are told two months (end of Jan) prior that your lot rate would go up by only $40 per month then told that actually it's going up by almost $400 in totality two months later (Mar 14) in less than two weeks, this is not hospitality. I was told that I would either have to vacate the park, pay the additional rate, or move to the new section which was pretty much full. The worst thing of it all was that after four years and MULTIPLE referrals, I was not asked if I intended on staying, I was told "you weren't intending on staying anyways, right?" Until that moment, I had planned on remaining at Flamingo. No longer. Flamingo used to bring relaxation and calm after a long day at work. Now, I'm looking forward to the day that I roll out. It's a shame that a place that boasts hospitality does not feel hospitable.
