Fort Boonesborough
Fort Boonesborough State Park is a living history park located in Richmond, Kentucky. The park is named after the famous pioneer fort built by Daniel Boone and his companions in 1775. The fort was a major frontier outpost during the American Revolution and was the site of several battles between the settlers and Native Americans. Today, visitors to the park can explore the reconstructed fort, watch demonstrations of frontier life, and take part in educational programs.
