We have stayed here so many times throughout years working in area part time. If it’s a summer destination for families probably worth it. Fall through spring quiet not a lot of spots taken. My husband and I have easily spent over 20,000 dollars here. We have had family and friends meet us here and camp on many occasions. We were here for over another week arrived late Tuesday night. Had a small pull trailer we haul with us because there was so many vacancies and it was dark. Chilly and late Lmy husband presumed since we were leaving next morning with small trailer for the day. He parked it beside our rv. ( no grass on that area ) next morning he pulled it into vacant spot ( because there is absolutely more available spots than used). So he could do alittte preparation conveniently. We left with said small trailer at 11:45 from spot he used for couple hours. Anyway we have been charged full amount for parking in empty spot for 2 or 3 hours full price. We were told even though we have spent so much money here they refused to take those hours off our bill. Claiming someone was coming that after noon and had requested that sight ( that the trailer was parked in) but take note was-gone before even check in time.so we had to pay full price. Not any exceptions for us(apparently great customers don’t matter). . Because my husband did not see a sticky note in envelope late night we arrived. We have obviously inconvenienced this koa so badly they would not even be reasonable to dismiss or at least not charge full price

We really enjoyed our stay at the Fort Collins KOA Holiday! The campground was well cared for, and beautifully laid out. Our site was easy to pull into, level, and had all the hookups we needed. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The park was relaxing with plenty of space to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. A great stop for RV travelers!

We've been coming to this KOA for several years in a row in October to celebrate Halloween with our kids and another family. In past years, we've brought our RV; this is the first year we've rented a cabin from them. Despite costing over $200 per night for a tiny studio cabin, the campground nickle-and-dimes you for every little thing, right down to only providing two K-cups of caffeinated coffee for 2 adults staying 3 nights (don't worry, they invested in semi-permanent signs informing you you could purchase more K-cups from the store.). They charge for every single activity despite having very dilapidated equipment as noted in other reviews. Many other campgrounds include things like mini-golf in your rate, but this one charges for that as well. But the real cherry on top was when my credit card was charged $50 for a "cleaning fee" after I had checked out. Campground management (Mark) informed me this was because there were "crumbs left on the kitchen table" and "a dustpan of dirt swept off the floor" and "some dirty dishes left in the sink". I was flabbergasted - at over $200/night, vacuuming the floor and clearing the sink should be standard housekeeping duties, especially since it was never communicated to me - in writing or verbally - that the expectation is that the Guest perform those duties prior to check out. I would have had no problem doing all that if that were clearly communicated as it is in an AirBND rental, for example, but it was not, and they just decided on their own to go ahead and assess the fee. I called and calmly explained my point of view and rather than make it right and refund the fee, Mark essentially said it was my problem and I should just contest the charge with my credit card company if I didn't like it. He was very dismissive and obviously just wanted to get me off the phone. A lawyer would have a heyday with this but I think negative reviews on the internet are just as impactful to the bottom line and I hope everyone takes the time to consider this pattern of dishonest and dismissive behavior by Mark and staff in my review and others here before they consider spending their hard-earned money on this place. You're much better off at a mid-tier hotel or better run campground in town. I hope KOA Corporate is taking notice.

Drove up to spend a night in this campground with friends. From the moment I walked in to the minute I left, I received terrible customer service from Wendy at the main office. When I attempted to check in, she was curt and unhelpful. I asked if I could upgrade my site to stay near my friends. She said that was not possible. In fact, she told me I couldn't stay at the site at all because I didn't have a tent. There was nothing mentioned when I booked the site about a tent requirement. She was rude and dismissive of my concerns. When I asked for my money back, she processed a cancellation charging me for the cancellation fee. I didn't ask to cancel. I just asked to stay at the campground which I had just driven an hour and a half to get to.

This location was everything we wanted for a long weekend getaway. Tons of amenities for the kids. The staff were incredibly friendly. They had events and fun things to break up the days. Very clean and cared for. My only wish would be for a hot tub, but that doesn’t change my absolute 5-star review!
