This is the worst KOA we have ever stayed at. We stay at KOAs all over the country as they usually are up to a certain standard. I booked this place months ago as a stopover on our way to Grand Tetons. It’s one of the more pricey KOAs so I falsely hoped that meant it was very nice. First you have to pass a junk yard before the park entrance. The sites are tiny and very close together. At first they assigned us to a tiny back-in site with large overhanging trees on both sides. No way would our 34ft fifth wheel go in there. We asked for a different site and were given another small back in site but at least large trees weren’t blocking the entrance. Then as we were setting up we noticed small flying insects swarming around the back and sides of our camper. Sewer flies? Talked to front desk staff who basically said too bad. There are also several long term campers here with all kinds of junk in their sites. This place just feels trashy. I’m so glad we are only here for one night! Incidentally we stayed last night at the KOA in WaKeeney KS and it was lovely.

Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Cost While the park initially seemed promising, our experience quickly took a turn due to ongoing electrical issues and unprofessional management. Staff were not only rude but also inconsistent and overly strict with selective enforcement of rules. For example, we were told our dogs' leashes were too long that they had to be 6 feet or less, despite seeing several others with dogs off-leash or on even longer leads—some reaching the road. Our dogs remained within our designated area at all times. There was also constant confusion regarding what was allowed outside—one day items were prohibited, the next they were permitted, all while others had the same items out without issue or even had their areas trashed. For the price range of $1,500 to $25000, we expected a far better experience. Save your money and consider a quality hotel or a well-managed RV park instead. We will not be returning.

Driving from Central Texas to Northwest Montana, I decided to break the trip in half and stayed 4 nights at this KOA in Fort Collins. This is my first time staying at a KOA and the park did not disappoint. I reserved a spot in the back that has enough space for your RV & a tent. The site also offered a fire pit and great seating. The grounds were very clean, quiet and plenty of amenities for families traveling with kids or vacation. Beautiful views of the Rockies and close to shopping & grocery stores.

Great location with a lakeside view. There is no swimming in the lake yet walking around is calming and beautiful. The staff did a great job to have multiple activities available for all ages. We used a tent site with electricity and full bathrooms were close by. The area was quiet throughout the night and I felt safe the entire time.

Booked 2 nights to stay with the RV. Very friendly and helpful staff, good shop and opening times. Great and spacious bathroom with very good showers! Laundry 24h with an option to purchase one tide pod so you dont have to get a whole pack at Walmart.

I'm traveling with my husband and our 2 pups. We are here for 3 months and we are 1 month in so far. This KOA has the friendliest staff, sweet, fun, and funny. They have plenty of activities for kiddos and families. They do breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays; we enjoy that when I get off work in the morning. They do pizza nights, as well as a gathering at the campfire. The mountains are visible, therefore the scene is beautiful. We love walking the little trail they have, and my husband has enjoyed fishing off their dock. There is a trail down the road the takes you into the downtown Fort Collins area. There is just so much to do here and nearby. We love it so much.

Clean campsite, staff are great. small lake with trail. we couldn't bring our RV due to repairs last minute, Melissa was amazing and helped change our reservation to a cozy cabin instead and had the best time. will be back.

The grounds are very nice. The staff however is extremely intrusive. The older gentleman came banging on our cabin door while I was inside alone, to tell me that my husband had parked the RV in the wrong place (we parked in the spot with the same number as our cabin, with an rv hookup that ALSO had the same number on it, so I don’t see why that was wrong). Nonetheless, he made me feel EXTREMELY uncomfortable. I was so intimidated that I was actually shaking. He was also quite loud, and not wearing a mask while right in front of my face. It was VERY frightening to me on SO many levels. They continued to drive or walk up to the cabin DOZENS of times in the less than 24 hrs we were there - in their cars, on foot and in their carts. They absolutely ruined our time there. We needed to isolate, but were totally unable to do so. I’m contemplating reporting this to law enforcement, that’s how frightening this experience was.
