A great place for a walk

Nice trail. There's a small park for the kiddos, disc golf and park for campers. Also, nice access to the river.

I loved walking around the trail they have. The park was clean and the kids had fun. It was a good way to get them out the house to burn some energy. The park was also clean. There was no trash anywhere. I would recommend this park for daily walks or to bring kids to play.

We arrived in a downpour and weren't sure which campsites are pull through, but took a chance. We could see where someone had been stuck in the grass and mud, but we had no problem leaving the next morning. A warning, though, to anyone with good hearing ... a train track is just on the other side of Route 7.

General Clinton Park is owned and managed by the Town of Bainbridge. I called ahead and spoke to a Town of Bainbridge employee. He was very professional, polite and very informative. Wow, very nice town park. The Town of Bainbridge and grounds crew does a fantastic job keeping the park clean and groomed. Well groomed and green grass fields. Large sites throughout the park with 20, 30, 50amp or 30amp. Water and electric only. There is a dump station. Free for campers in the park. Passport America is $15.00 a night. Nice paved and gravel walking path and playground for children.

Very quiet and inexpensive. Good for an overnight stop. None of the usual amenities.

General Clinton park is an incredible asset for Bainbridge. Beautiful walking trails along the river small nice playground for the kids camping and trailer sites available, the Annual General Clinton Canoe regatta on Memorial day weekend . bathrooms kitchen facilities and pavilions available for rent . A favorite spot to escape for a riverbank lunch when I am stuck in town.

Absolutely love this park and outdoor venue option. The grounds are kept extremely clean and well maintained. So much potential for local utilization and great camp option for passersby.
